I bought this to protect my brand new 2024 Tesla 19†Gemini rims. The hub caps that came with the car looks decent but it doesn’t cover the rim edge making them susceptible to curb rash damage. This one fully covers the rim edge. Installation was a breeze - they snap right on and fits perfectly. In fact, I don’t believe the included 3M tape is necessary (time will tell).Now for some cons. Although it looks nice, it is made of plastic. So, not sure it will last long. For what you get, it’s overpriced in my opinion. For the price I paid, they should provide at least one replacement.

Updated review: changed my rating from four stars to one. Decided I didn’t like the look of these after all, and tried to remove them. Absolutely impossible! After maybe half an hour of trying everything I could think of I ended up breaking three trying to get them off - see picture. Cheap cheap, cheap junk! Avoid at all costs.———Love love love my Tesla Model Y. Hate hate hate the way the rims stick out beyond the tires and get curb-rashed if you even look at them wrong. The car comes with (ugly) plastic "Aero" covers that don't even cover the wheel edges, so I replaced those with some only slightly less ugly full-size covers that did in fact cover up to the edges. But they are also cheap plastic, and cover up the really nice alloys that are hiding under the covers.So these seem like a great compromise - cover the wheel edges, but also let you see the nice alloys. I was afraid at first they they would be ugly. They are just cheap cheap plastic. And the color seemed a little off, but as you can see form the pics, they actually don't look half bad. And the color matches well.They came well packaged, and included (non-tesla logo) center covers and plastic lug nut covers. The instructions said to install "3M tape" around the edges, but my box had no 3M tape to be found. I just snapped them on and they seemed to be pretty sturdy, so I don't know what the tape was for, but 1 star off as it was missing from box.

It matches the color of my rims perfectly. It's made out of hard plastic though. You cannot use it with the hub cap. I didn't see any significant loss with the miles when using this either.Easy to install. It's a one time use, if I curb something too hard it'll definitely break off.

I got this set for a friend of mine who drives a Tesla and used to work downtown in the City, so she was always rubbing her rims against the curbs when parking. She just got a new job with an actual parking lot and she wanted to get her rims fixed when a new co-worker commented on how bad the edge of her rims looked when they were going to lunch (they do look bad, lol). She called around and found out it was going to be at least eight hundred bucks to get the rims refinished and she'd have to wait over a week until they were done, so no driving her car! She said “No way!†and I told her not to worry about it and I'd take care of it as I knew Amazon had wheel rim protectors for Tesla's. I got this set for her and told her to get her car cleaned on Friday night before I came over on Saturday to fix the issue. I also brought along my portable sander as I knew how bad her rims were and after making sure the wheels were completely clean, I did a little sanding around the rim edges with some 220 grit to remove the clear coat, then hit them with wet filtered water 80; 160; 220; 400; dry 2000; and 2500, some aluminum polish and then a final polish to make sure I got rid of all of the scratches. The key was to keep the rim edge level and make it flush before applying the rim protector. I knew no matter what I did to fix the rims, they were gonna' get scratched again anyway, so it was important to fix them and then protect them. But this way I had a great surface to attach the rim covers too! I just followed the instructions and after I snapped the covers onto each rim, not only did it look great but they were NOT going to come off anytime soon. She was very happy and after a large glass of Lemonade later, so was I! 5 Stars!

So far, it's easy to install and looks great without ruining the original look. I want it to protect the original rim. Recommended purchase, reasonable price.
