Easy and able to lift. As a senior, I am not able to purchase 10/20 pounds of potting soil, put in car and drag to my back yard. These bricks are perfect.

I have used coir from other suppliers in the past, and came across this brand on Amazon. The price/weight was good, so I tried it. I'm glad that I did, as it gave me more coir than I expected. It absorbed a lot of water, and expanded very quickly. I also check the salt levels in the coir, and this one was in the extremely low range, so I know it will do great with my plants. The coir was very clean, loose and fluffy. I will be ordering a few more blocks from Amazon in the upcoming months. Absolutely love it, and highly recommended!

I was skeptical purchasing this coconut coir. I had never used it before, but it cost less then what I usually get so I ordered two of them. I'm on my second one now and i'm not having any problems with this coir. It holds moisture very well and my seeds grow in it! Save yourself some money.

I purchased Modellor Coco Coir 10 lb brick alone with the big box store 10 lb Coco Coir brick. In comparison, this one expands to 2.5 5 gal buckets of coir, using 6 gallons of water, while the other one yielded only 2 buckets using only 4.5 gallons of water. I do not know how much salt is in either and will be testing both 2025 spring/fall season to see how my veggies do with these in grow bags. Re-ordered this item.

It is all I use when growing in solid media, just add perlite and worm castings and you are set to grow, plants love it as well then seem to be able to grow bigger, and so much faster seeing it is so light and airyAnd seeing the quality of dirt has gotten so bad as well as expensive this is a no brainer to me at least, you want good results start with a good product, and this is a great product to start with

I thought it would be in smaller blocks for some reason but otherwise it gets the job done and seems like good quality. It’s a good value price wise for what you are getting.
