I'm adding shelves/supports in my Winchester safe. Ordered this as it appeared to match the color and it is actually very close in color to what is in there already. Texture-wise I'd say this is thick felt, not "carpet" like the description says. My only gripe is that it shows in the picture that it is on a roll, but it comes folded-which is annoying as it creates lines where it is folded. I was able to use spray adhesive and it stayed where it was supposed to, but you can definitely see the line. Not a deal breaker for me, but for something that will be more visible it is something to consider. Overall, it did the job for me.

Same thickness as factory and matches my Challenger trunk nicely. Used to patch where I installed sway bar. Good price and quality. Highly recommend product.

I ordered the mid grey and I received the light grey. I gave the package to the stereo shop to install it on the box without opening the package first so it’s too late to do anything about it. The material I softer than most speaker boxes and rubs off easily.

great stuff. I used it to carpet a storage box for the wife's sewing machine. this carpet gave it a great feel and looks like it should be covering a huge speaker box or something. cutting it left me feeling it was a pretty durable fabric. between the scissors and razor knife I was using I had trouble with clean cuts. I'd call that the fault of the scissors or a dull razor.

I bought this for covering a speaker box. This is not the normal speaker box carpet but a very thick felt. Very difficult to cut.

It came folded with many wrinkles. I used a steamer iron on the material back side and it came out very nice. I am very pleased. I used it on door panels and you cannot see any lines or wrinkles. Very cost effective material.

Description claims this carpet is “high grade.†Barely worthy of being used as felt for a child’s art project. I’d rather place a wet shoe on a couple sheets of Bounty in my wheel well than this “carpet.†The product and its claims get a “low grade.†The PRC strikes again! Time to strike bad and stop buying their lousy goods.

I purchased this as an alternative to foam liners for an older Craftsman tool cart. I had previously purchased and lined the drawers with a perforated foam. I had noticed a while back that some of my plastic tools were sticking to the foam and eventually discovered some cheaper tools actually melting over time. From what I have read, this is due to some of the chemicals used in creating that style of liner. I did not really want to take that chance again and was pretty familiar with the consistency of automotive carpet and saw that suggestion online.This arrives folded in a rectangle and does take a little bit of time to flatten to eliminate wrinkles. It is about 1/8" thick - so it will eliminate rattling but it is not going to cushion things too much. To adhere it to the drawers, I cut it to shape and used carpet tape in the corners and middle (can get it any detail hardware store). The material cuts pretty easy with a decent set of scissors and going slow. I used a permanent marker and square to mark my lines.This has worked great for my purposes. I like the lighter gray color in my black drawers as it prevents things from disappearing. Great cost and I was able to line four drawers with it (with some leftover). Time will tell for longer term durability but I expect this to last as long as the prior foam with none of the downside.
