Seems to anchor well enough on a VHS-2 (aka, Springfield Hellion) handguard, at least with a Streamlight and pressure pad. I can't say I've tested it with anything heavier. If you're not inserting them correctly they can seat one end without seating the other properly, but just give it a good jiggle to verify if it's in before hitting the range.

The pegs are thin and could be thicker. Works good for aero rails and magpul bipods. Not for hard duty but is not trash either.

I was looking for a small beaker for my gun stand and this was great. I only use the stand on occasion so I didn’t want something big or permanent. This worked great.

This is exactly what I was looking for, as my AR foregrip has MLok, and I didn't want to permanently mount a bipod. So now I have my bipod mounted to this, and I can pop on and off the gun with ease. Very stable when mounted.

Awesome purchase. Never again will I need to leave my Picatinny rails on the bottom of my AR hand guards when I don’t want a bipod (shooting from inside a deer stand or shooting standing). Makes for a much more comfortable grip when not using a bipod. When I am prone or doing bench work, I can just pop on my Magpul Bipod which has this quick release installed. It’s so simple, it’s ridiculous. Just push two buttons and stick it into the M-LOK slot on any compatible handguard. It works on Magpul’s polymer M-LOK handguards as well, not just the aluminum ones. Rock solid hold on both. Now I can quickly take this quick release/Magpul Bipod combo with me anywhere I go and I can snap on a bipod without any tools in seconds using any of my rifles with the M-LOK system. Brilliant. Everyone should have this $130 quick release combo.

Sylvan Arms' product is functional but does not grip the MLOK with the same power as Kinetic Development Group's KIN5-100. They two items look almost identical but Sylvan Arms' feet have significantly more play which creates the wobble when attached to the rail. Returning this item...

I bought this to mount an Inforce light to a metal M-Lok handguard. Works great for that and easy, fast removal when not needed. Probably great for quick detaching a bipod as well. Note, however, that there is a small amount of wobble that will prevent using this reliably for any type of sighting device or laser. Wobble also accompanied by a slight noise that isn’t a big deal to me but if you are really going for a stealth setup this could be a deal breaker unless maybe a (very) thin cloth barrier is used between the device and handguard. The wobble might not be a problem on a plastic handguard which might be a little thicker but I haven’t been able to try that.

This will only work on airsoft rifles that have a very thin MLOCK handguard. Even then it is very loose. If you are buying this for a real rifle, forget it. I tried it on my PSA AR-15 with an MLOK handguard, and this device fell off quickly as the handguard is too think. But it was cheap so I had to buy one. But yeah, even with airsoft guns, don't mount anything on it that you don't want to lose as it will almost certainly fall off. I'd recommend just using traditional screw-in mlok mounts and avoid these quick-change devices. It sounded good on paper, but I've realized that even a better designed one is likely to come off if you bump the rifle hard on something or if the rifle has heavy recoil.
