MADE IN USA. Genuine MOEN aerator for bathroom faucet. I installed this on my MOEN commercial faucet since the original one was all scratched up from using channel locks to remove it. This fits perfectly and hand tightening is all thats required. It does not leak. It produces 1.5 gpm water flow which is perfect. The plastic insert can be manually disassembled and soaked in clear vinegar for 30 mintes to clean when it gets dirty.

This was purchased to replace an older single handle Moen bathroom faucet. The old aerator was spraying water out the sides, but the sink overall was doing okay. More of a pain to replace the whole faucet, so I searched for an easier fix. I wasn't sure if this would fit or not, took a gamble and it fit great! One thing I didn't realize was that the old aerator had what looked like TWO aerators or mesh filters... the 2nd one was jammed up in the faucet when I removed the old one. There was a small washer and another filter up there I gently pried out with a small flat head screwdriver. Once I removed those two additional pieces, this one fit in its place perfectly and screwed in tight. The old aerator was 2.0 gpm and this one was 1.5 gpm... but honestly I don't notice the difference. I'm just happy the water now dispenses normal and no more side spray! So again, if you buy this and the chrome portion threads but you're unable to fit it in with the aerator inserted... check the faucet side for a couple more washers jammed up there and remove them. That was my only head scratching moment.
