EASY TO USE
1. Pull the screw out by about 6 mm and insert it into the plier.
2. Insert it into the pre-drilled hole.
3. Squeeze the handles to compress. When correctly inserted, the screw can be removed from the anchor.
Warm Tips:
1. The piece that actually pulls the screw head is cut in a "V" shape, so smaller screws work, it's just a little easier to lose your grip on them if you're not careful. You have to be sure the shaft of the screw is all the way down into the V.
2. In the case that the anchor does not tighten up behind the wall, please screw the screw clockwise to let it go closer to the anchor, then squeezing the handles until the anchor is secure.

I had a coat rack fall off the wall. Pulled both screws out along with the plastic anchors. I purchased this as a fix so i wouldn't have to create new holes and wanted something that would work better than plastic anchors. This was the ticket. You will need some forearm strength to squeeze the anchors. Once I had the anchors in place, it was a strong hold.

I wasn't sure that I would get much value out of this tool. You can set mollys with a phillips battery drill. I thought this might be one of those tools I use once.I used this several times yesterday, and I'm happy with the tool. This tool quickly sets the fastener, unscrew 1/4" of screw, remove. Put your divice up to the wall, reinsert and tighten screw... very fast and easy.Also came with a nice variety and large quantity of molly bolts.

The tool is very handy. The molly bolts seem to do the job just fine but they are not as sturdy. Looking as the ones that I have used before from the hardware store.

The tool is very sturdy, easy to use, does what it is supposed to do and should last forever. Note: It is important to make sure that the bolt head is properly seated in the tool before crimping the anchor to the work surface. If you have an issue, customer support is very responsive and helpful.

3 of them broke while I was trying to tighten the screw. It was not worth it. Maybe the tool.

I have used molly bolts many times in the past. I would hammer the anchor into the hole that I just drilled and add the screw. I would tighten the screw until the anchor set. In this most recent case, I did the same procedure, but I kept damaging the anchor while tightening the screw. That is when I found the Foretvl Drywall Anchor Setting Kit. The tool is magical, and I wonder why I struggled in the past. I put the molly bolt assembly into the tool, pushed the assembly into the hole I drilled and squeezed the handle. It was that simple. I will never put another molly bolt into a wall without using the Foretvl tool.

So the Tool supplied only works with largest Molly's - the opening at the end does not fit the head of about 50% of the sizes supplied - and if you get creative and try putting a washer on the bolt so will fit, when you try and tighten it strips the bolts with even moderate pressure - which is likley why they designed it not to work with them.

…wie wir in einem Haus der 50ger Jahre wohnt, also einer Zeit, in welchem Baumaterial knapp und nicht unbedingt von guter Qualität war, kennt sicher das Problem, etwas an oder in einer Wand zu befestigen? Die großen, grauen Blockbausteine mit ihren relativ dünnen Wänden und den dahinter befindlichen Luftlöchern erschweren oder verhindern gar einen festen Halt.Hier kommt nun, wie auch beim Trockenbau und vorgesetzten auf Leisten genagelten Spanplatten, das Problem zu, womit etwas sicher aufhängen oder befestigen.Hier kommt nun die Hilfe in Form dieses hier rezensierten >>Hohlraumdübel Set, Vollständiger Schrauben und Dübel Set Mit Box, Montagezange für Hohlraumdübel ins Spiel.Man bohrt zunächst entsprechend den zu verwendenden Hohlraumdübel angepasstes Loch in die Einsetzstelle. Dreht die Schraube des ausgewählten, passenden Hohlraumdübels ein wenig raus, bis der Schraubenkopf hinter den schwarzen Greifhaken der Zange passen würde, und setzt den Dübel in das neu gebohrte Loch bis zum Anschlag ein.Nun greift man mit der Zange und dem Zugelement (siehe Bild 1) hinter den Schraubenkopf und drückt die Zange zu. Durch den entstehenden Zug spleist sich hinter der Wand der Dübel auf, somit sitzt der Dübel nun, von hinten gehalten, fest im Dübelloch. Siehe Zeichnung im mehrsprachigen, beiliegenden Handbüchlein. (auch in deutscher Sprache).Durch die einfache aber sichere Handhabung ist die zu verrichtende Befestigungsarbeit schnell und effizient erledigt.Die Zange selbst macht einen seriösen, wertigen Eindruck, liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich einfach zusammendrücken. Damit kann jedermann arbeiten und sicher befestigen.Übrigens, entsprechende Hohlraumdübel, unterschiedlicher Länge und Größe sind schon Teil des Sets (Bild2), Sie können also sofort loslegen.Sollten Sie noch längere, oder welche mit größerem Umfang benötigen, hier auf Amazon werden sie sicher fündig. Einzige Einschränkung wäre der Schraubendurchmesser, aber nur dann, wenn die Schraube nicht mehr in die Zangenaussparung passen sollte.Dieses doch simple aber sehr nützliche Werkzeug erhält daher von mir eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.Ich bedanke mich herzlich bei Ihnen für Ihr Interesse an dieser Rezension sowie diesem, von mir empfohlenen Produkt und hoffe ein wenig bei der Produkt-Einschätzung hilfreich gewesen zu sein.

Hat bei mir super funktioniert und hält bombenfest. Es wäre lediglich zu beachten das es nur 4 Dübel pro Größe sind, dafür ist auf jeden Fall der passende dabei.
