I'm accumulating gifts for a baby who won't arrive for many months whose mom has let it be known that she really and truly dislikes baby showers and would be really and truly grateful if folks would respect her wishes and not hold one for her. I chose this baby carrier because of the lumbar support and how easy it is to put on and take off. The drawstring storage/carry bag solves the problem of straps flopping around between uses and the fabric looks like it will hold up well in the washing machine. This is the first baby carrier I've bought in decades but it seems like a good value compared to others I've seen. I particularly like that the carrier is a nice plain, pattern-free, gray that won't clash with baby clothes or blankets.

It is not what I can see on the picture. Actual item is so thin and looks like cannot hold my big baby. It's not suitable for big baby, caused back pain even after carrying only for 1 min

This carrier is soft and not as structured as some other ones. It comes in a plastic bag, so not much packaging and not very good choice for the gift giving. It had a faint chemical odor upon opening. I would say it is mostly for younger kids. Material is a cute pink cottony material, pleasant to the touch. Also, it is very small folded up, so it is very portable.

This isn't my first baby carrier, but it's the most comfortable one so far. It's nice to have the weght on my shoulders and have my arms free. It's not nearly as comfortable as a back-pack, as you will for sure feel the weight on the front like this, but the baby won't be happy on your back and you can't protect them properly, so this is a great option.
