I like the fact that it’s bowed and conforms to the shape of my monitor. It does a decent job lighting the desk area around the keyboard without having a bunch of bleed over. I don’t really use the top lights… to me they look a little gaudy. You may want to invest in double sided tape. It uses adhesion to secure itself to the back of the monitor and after adjusting it a couple times it doesn’t take much to knock it over. It has a clean look that I like which keeps the desk area looking professional. The dimmer function is nice. It gets pretty bright so I personally find it most comfortable on its lowest setting. I would have preferred it be thinner which probably could have been done without the gimmicky top lights but it’s still a significant improvement on eye strain at a pretty decent price. The touch controls are fine I just said I liked the dimmer function. I guess it’s cool in the way that they’re not actual buttons. It works like a touch screen.

Plugging it in causes freezing of applications, which shouldn't happen if it's just drawing power through USB.

I recently changed from a regular flat screen monitor to a curved screen monitor. I wanted to replace my straight monitor light with a curved one as the straight one really didn't work well with the new curved monitor. Looking at the options on Amazon (very few) I chose the Geisofu as the best value and bought it.It works ... O K, but its a bit underwhelming. Here is why:1. The curved monitor light device for holding it onto the monitor is designed for a flat-back on the monitor - my monitor has a curved back, so the light is extremely unstable. When you try to press the buttons on the front of the light to change intensity, hue, etc., the light jiggles/moves requiring a gentle touch and adjustment after touching sometimes.2. The instruction manual reads like it was written in Japan in 1949. Very obviously written by a non-English speaker.3. The Backlights are OK for a gamer-type I suppose, but really useless for a regular user. No point.I will probably look for another option elsewhere if I can't find one on Amazon. May just go back to using a desk lamp. Would not buy again or recommend.
