I used to strongly prefer Belkin cables because their anti-snag guard was easier to release in a tight or awkward space than most cable boots that look like these ones. Unfortunately Belkin doesn't sell the boot separately, so I bought these simply because they were relatively cheap. It turns out that these have a more supple rubber in the cup that covers the RJ-45 retention prong, so the cables I make with these are just as easy to detach as the Belkin ones.

Well priced and well made pliable strain relief boots. I'm a fan of making my own patch cables and have found these to be the best priced and highest quality. I've only had a few rip near the bottom but it seems there has to be a trade off from pliability and durability. Any less pliable they'd be not very manageable.

These are not very good as they are very stiff and loose fitting on CAT-5.

Can't complain. These are important and they work great so long as you remember to put them on FIRST before setting up the wires and/or terminating your cable. Not that I ever did that... lol

Like my winter welly boots, They fit ever so snuggly right into place. They may not have the beauty of a Russian woman bare knuckle boxing a grizzly bear in bikinis but I can make it through my day without that. Seriously amazon they rj45 rubber boots. They do the job just fine.

I got these for making some customized cables for my TV and computer. They turned out to be a great Addon since they made the ends easier to use, like when reaching into the back of my desk tv cabinet to hook up or disconnect and move around my router, set top box etc

These are REALLY tight on the 'Monoprice 250-Feet Cat6 Bulk' cable. Gotta give them a little reaming, and don't even try putting it on a cable that is already stripped. Stick on when cut flat, no wires protruding.https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B019OM4RJY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2The black colour on black cable is nice when hiding away cables. The rubber they are made from is very strong.

Bought these RJ-45 boots to use when creating Cat6 Ethernet cables for a home network. They have a flexible rubber feel as expected, so there is not much more to say about them.Although these are designed to simply slide over the jacks, they could be fixed more securely with a dab of hot glue etc.TOP TIP: Remember to slide them onto the cable before connecting RJ-45 jacks to both ends of the cable, as you will not be able to get them on after. Out of the 10 cables i made, therefore 20 of these boots, i forgot to put on 4 of them, resulting in having to remove and re-wire the connectors, which is a pain.
