This set of six Montessori-style balancing pucks offers multiple ways to engage kids in play and learning. Each puck is vibrantly colored and features numbers and shapes, creating several learning opportunities. The unique shape also allows for different types of play—my son enjoys rolling them, throwing them, and even using them as stepping stones to jump between. The build quality is solid, and they seem durable enough to hold up over time. However, I did find the product title a bit misleading. It mentioned a balance beam, but unless I’m missing something, there was no actual beam included. That said, after a week of use, I’d still spend the $20. They’ve provided plenty of educational entertainment for my son, and that alone makes them well worth it.

Beyond disappointed - should have listened to my gut. Got this because Little Grand wanted a balance beam type set and there are straight sections pictured in addition to circles, plus it's called an "obstacle course." All we got are the circles. The very small, square box told me that's all we were getting before we opened it.The 6 circles we received are flat, they don't even have little wobbly things on the bottom to help with balance and strengthening ankles and core.As for quality - these fail there, as well. They're compressed layers of thin woodesque material. Why do they need an 88# weight limit? For the first time ever, I feel deceived (strong word) and wish I could give a zero rating. The last 2 pictures of the listing showing the straight sections need to be removed and the listing updated to eliminate the wording "obstacle course." I'm disappointed and the Seller should be embarrassed!!

Okay item. Ad was a bit confusing but I was able to figure out that I would only be getting the stepping stones before purchasing, so that wasn’t a surprise. What was surprising, however, was how slippery they are! I expected some sort of rubber/non-slip backing but there isn’t. Both sides are made of the same smooth, slipper wood- although my husband has some sensory issues and hates the feel of it (slightly unfinished/rough) so wouldn’t recommend for those who are similar or on the autism spectrum. My 1.5 year old enjoys playing with these as if they are large, wooden cards- she carries them around and points to the numbers, colors, and shapes- which is great. However, they are unable to be used as their intended purpose due to their slippery nature.

These circles are great to use the steppingstones or learning tools. I like that one side has numbers and the other side has shapes and each is a different color so it’s good for practicing vocabulary.

Not safe for walking/standing on! May be better for carpeted areas.Cons:1. These slide all over the floor when getting onto them - there is no backing to keep them from moving.2. The listing made it very hard for me to understand if I was just getting 6 stepping stones or the balance beams as well (only the circle/stones are included)Pros:1.Reverse side has shapes, but I would still opt for safety instead (rubber backing, etc.)2. They are cute and could be used for other activities that don't include balancing.I would not recommend these to anyone.

The wooden numbers are strong and colorful. Each piece is about the size of an adult hand. The colors are bright. It's a good toy to learn about numbers.

The title says “Montessori Wooden Balance Beam Stepping Stones“ but nowhere in the description does it say exactly what you’re ordering. FYI, even though it says balance beam, you only get the stepping stones. 3 star rating for the very misleading title! On to the review of the actually stepping stones—overall they’re pretty good. Numbers on one side and shapes on the other. The stone with the number 6 came a bit chipped and I’ll have to file it before I let my son jump on them because of splinters. But I know my toddler will have fun playing with them and telling me the shapes, colors, and numbers

I ordered these "wooden balance beam stepping stones" for my toddlers. Colors, numbers, and balance? Sounds good, right? The reality is we got some flat wooden disks. Really flat, like plates. They don't have any grip at all, so they slip around whether they're on carpet or on a hard wood floor. They're not safe for balancing or stepping on.For $20, this was a total waste of money. No joke, these are garbage! Some of the product images show balance beams and other things, but those were not included in this set, just wooden disks.Terrible product. Do not buy!
