Wow, I'm really impressed by this shade. It has medium to full privacy and looks great. It's easy to install and pulls down and pushes up very smoothly. They cut it perfectly to fit our window. Well worth the money

(1) look awesome and fit standard windows;(2) were fairly easy to install; but(3) now, after 14 months suddenly the widest one is stuck in the "up" position and I have no clue how to fix. Assuming there is a tangle somewhere? Afraid to break a string. Not sure how to ask questions of the seller here (when I went to my order it denied me ability to contact seller) so perhaps they or another buyer can advise via this review. Frustrating because they have barely been touched, and this happens just before guests arrive.

I wasn't sure for long time about what to choose for our bedroom window coverings. When I saw the clean and elegant roman shades from Mood Design, I was ready to buy. They operate smoothly and securely and really add a peaceful ambience to the room. I chose the white color, which is perfect for me, since I have both off-white and ivory in the room. (The shade is an organic material [bamboo], so the white isn't a stark white, but more of a "winter white" tone.) As you can see from the pics, the blinds are definitely "light filtering" not black-out or darkening. For our bedroom, this is perfect. In our bathroom however, I plan to add a liner for more privacy and likely even a "top down-bottom up" type of shade to keep more light in the room. Mood Design can accommodate both of these variations as well. They are easy to work with and after ordering, immediately send a confirming email as to the function, installation plan, color and size. They even ask if these windows are on the same wall to best match the natural color variation of the bamboo.

These blinds are beautiful and an incredible value. They arrived quickly and the measurements were spot on to what I ordered. The communication during the process was great too. I really like the top down and cordless features. I've never had blinds like these and I love these feature. Be aware this particular blind is very sheer. I can see clearly out during the day, and at night, outsiders can clearly see in. I was aware of this beforehand based on the seller's clear description and helpful reviews by others. Knowing this, I did apply a privacy film on one of the window to keep my neighbors from seeing inside at night. My smaller window blinds are perfect; they look and function great. There was a small black stain on the larger blinds (a smudge, not a natural imperfection) and the edges look ragged. I think this has to do with the spacing of the stitching. The stitch spacing on the smaller blinds are stitched right at both edges so they look neat and tidy. The stitching on the larger blinds have the stitches an inch or so away from the edges so the edges aren't lined up. It looks rough. Had it not been for this and the stain, this purchase would have been an easy 5-stars. I didn't attempt to exchange them because installing them with the tub in front of the window was no fun so I didn't want to remove and replace them. If I don't look closely, I still love the overall look and feel of the blinds, the functionality, and the value.

My order arrived way quicker than the estimated shipping time and it was a perfect fit. Super easy to install and looks great. Blocks just enough light and slides up and down smoothly with very little force.
