Interesting new design. Hopefully they will last just as long as my original ball joints did for my 01' Jeep XJ.

Saved me money from buying from the local parts store. A great deal, made to last. All the hardware you need to finish the project. Works great and saves money!

I suspect it's because of a redesign, but it doesn't exactly line up like the ones on the WJ. It fits, but it isn't that flush and there seems to be a gap of sorts which wasn't present with the originals. Had the mechanic work it out though with some hardware and it now fits and works just fine. Maybe something to consider, but otherwise, still a great replacement for the quality and price, plus it's greasable with the zerk fittings.

I've been told that Moog still makes their parts in the U.S.A. that is why I went with these ball joints.Pressed the old ones out and these went it very easily. One tip: keep and reuse the rubber dust cover that slips between the knuckle and the bottom of the ball joint because these don't come with that dust cover.Second tip: before you start the job, make sure you have the correct socket sizes for the new castle nuts. Different parts use different castle nut sizes.

Arrived on time, good packaging, good instructions. Look like quality products. They were not as tight as I expected new ones to be but it corrected my issue and my jk drives great again. Time will tell how they hold up.

I swapped the jk axles under my xj and the old ball joints gotta go. I was skeptical of these at first but I looked on moog website and they said it’s normal to have that space between the knuckle and the “câ€. Its just their new design I guess, drove it around 25k miles on road and off road and still great no death wobbles.

As others have said, this ball joint was so loose it could be tapped in lightly with a rubber mallet then rocked side by side in the bore and popped back out by hand. Ended up having to get a Duralast ball joint from AutoZone and it had to be pressed in with the c clamp tool and is tight. Not sure what the deal is with moog but it is unsafe to use.

Had horrible death wobble in my 15 wrangler and along with several other worn components, the ball joints had all but completely failed. As with most steering components I bought these moogs which tightened up the knuckles to better than factory! If your chasing death wobble issues, START WITH THE BALL JOINTS! More than likely there's more than one failed component in your front end so be prepared to fork out some money and replace everything including ball joints, wheel bearings, trac bar, drag link and tie rod, steering box, and get a wheel balance.

Seem like a good quality ball joint. Bottom being greasable you have to orient the joint in the proper position to be able to grease in the future. Didn't like the fact that I'll have to buy a different grease gun as it isn't a normal zerk fitting. It's a little flat head fitting.

Never usually write reviews, good or bad. Just wanted to warn people so you don't go through the same thing.Moog quality has declined so bad that I ended up putting the old ball joints back in as they were a better fit.Used a ball joint press to remove and re-install old joints, the new problem solver Moog joints could be fully seated by hand.....Measured old and new joints with Vernier caliper, new Moog joints were a couple thousand of an inch smaller in diameter hence the bad fit... Again DON'T buy....

Stud taper is incorrect. Must use 2 1/2†washers to engage cotter pin properly to castellated nut, but even then body will pop out of boss when greased. Joint also falls into place. No need for a installation press. Moog’s new style stud boot is intentionally manufactured to be shorter, leaving a large portion of stud exposed, which will result in corrosion. Who would like driving around with rusty ball joints? I am an Interprovincially Certified HDEM Red Seal Mechanic of 42 years, and I deem these to be unsafe for the road.
