  • Dual Cirrus Logic flagship decoding chips, Three independent power chips: DAWN PRO adopts dual flagship decoding amp chips CS43131 from Cirrus Logic, and uses HiFi-class USB digital interface chip, dual independent crystal oscillators, and three independent power supply chips for supplying each IC separately, forming a set of high-efficiency and high-performance HiFi audio circuit architecture, which meets enough thrust, ultra-low distortion, ultra-low noise and rich details in audio experience
  • 100-level Smooth DAC Volume Control: Almost lossless 100-level volume control, which separates the device volume control from smartphone, not only presents better performance but also brings a smooth control experience.
  • 3.5mm Single ended+4.4mm Balanced Outputs: The 3.5mm single ended port ensures a wider compatility The 4. 4mm balanced port provides twice the performance of single ended output.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing, Diversion and Heat Dissipation Design: The housing of DAWN PRO combines the aviation aluminum alloy, CNC and mold forming, and the surface is processed by the anodized, which has excellent texture and durability.t In the design of the heat dissipation structure, DAWN PRO has utilized the design idea of desktop HiFi devices, and the heat dissipation vents are set above the chips which generate more heat, improving the heat dissipation efficiency.

Dawn Pro is impressive not only at this price but it really sounds great. It has decent power, volume buttons, works in Windows and Android. It's mostly transparent and a touch of warmth. It's my favorite portable amp right now. Pro tip for people having trouble with Android. You have to use an app to get around the limits of Android. HiByMusic is a free app, USB Audio Player Pro is a paid option. These apps have a USB driver that works around the limits and connects to the DAC.

Perfect for what it's worth. I also have the $250 m15i and I prefer the Dawn Pro. The m15i has an artificial soundstage width in my opinion achieved with an echo that doesn't convince me. It also doesn't highlight the high frequencies like this Dawn Pro. m15i is warmer, Down Pro is more analytical which I like more.Down Pro is even more powerful than m15i in terms of volume

Sounds just as good as my qudelix, clear, crisp, no noise floor to speak of.Mine had a rather loud rattle from the metal buttons sliding and moving around in the metal shell. I use this for my desktop so it doesn't move much but if I was using it out and about it'd drive me crazy

Definitely cool looking and just decent build quality. It makes your iems sound amazing! I highly recommend this especially for the price. Comes in a cool tin and is super easy to use. Just make sure you pull the foam out to access the cable underneath and the instructions at the bottom of the tin

I bought this because I had moved my PC away from my desk, and use a USB C dock. Everything works great until I plug in this DAC. Not only does it limit support to the lowest quality setting (and a flashing red light... yes it gets distracting quick), there are constant, irregularly timed drop-outs that disrupt my connection to the PC. Remove the MoonDrop, problems go away. Reached out the the manufacturer, who said that I must have a defective unit, and despite the fact that they have drivers and a Firmware update listed specifically for this device (the firmware software can't detect it either). So I ordered a replacement, and exact same issues. So if you are using this on a Phone, I guess it will be good, but DO NOT buy this for PC. Computer support is terrible.

Bought this as a Christmas present. In order to make sure it worked and was not a dud, i tried it using my Samsung 23+ using my HiSenior Megafest EST, using Double twist player and a long list of combo flacs, mp4 and other files to sample the audio. I can tell you this thing was obscene in its sound quality, slam, musicality and shear power. Huge soundstage, bass slam to embarrass many desktop amps, and head slamming crisp detailed highs surprised the ever loving crap out of me. This thing was nearly on par with my Questyle M15i at a price that truly could embarrass the M15i as well as many others in that price range. Needless to say, it simply shocked me as to the quality of the sound this thing put out. Time will only tell as to the toughness and durability of the Dawn, but for the price I could go thru 4 of them and still just be even with the more expensive dongle dacs. It is certainly worth your consideration.

The included USB C cable caused the DAC to randomly disconnect from my phone. So, I went ahead and purchased a new cable and the problem went away completely, okay fine...Then, after about a week of use, I started getting periods where audio would crackle and become distorted. Disconnecting and reconnecting from my phone would temporarily resolve this for an hour or so. Seemed to be an issue with the High Gain mode as turning the amp to Low Gain mode in the Moondrop software fixed this issue indefinitely, okay fine...Finally, today I went to use the volume button and the button just fell/collapsed into the shell, so now I can't turn the volume down, unless I use the software...It's sad because, when it works the sound quality is great and definitely punches above its class. I want to use it, love it, and have it be my daily audio companion. Unfortunately, the build quality and QC is apparently where they cut costs to get it priced the way is.

This thing is tiny, has tons of amplification power, and the sound quality is pretty great. I'm someone who has paid upwards of $900 for dacs and I say don't bother with anything above this price point. Dac don't make a big difference until you're spending in the thousands. This $40 dac is perfectly adequate even for me. I listen to anything from jazz to death metal. It made eveything much cleaner, especially very harsh recordings like Death's "Leprosy" album, without the dac, the treble makes my ears bleed on high volume, with this dac, the treble was much smoother and easier to listen, it was actually quite shocking considering it's ao cheap. I'm going to stop here, I don't need any better.

I thought it would be little huge when I saw the picture, but wow this thing is tiny and cute!Since I have iphone 14, I haven’t tried it with smartphone, but as I tested it with my desktop, I am really impressed!0 noise (of course), there are volume control on DAC, Compact and light, Lighting function (As long as I know red means compressed or low lossless, Green means medium quality and blue means higher) that tells you it is working. Well built and constructed!Sounds wise, brief comparison with JM7, I couldn’t hear a huge difference with my IEMs (they are range of $100) but comparison with Apple aux cable, man this thing really improved something.I love the fact that the packaging has cute girl on it. Whenever I see it, I feel like she’s singing it for me and I can feel the characteristics that the company wants us to listen especially on Moondrop lineup.I highly recommend it to IEM users! I could not test with headphones that has high impedance because the highest I’ve got is 100 ohm and Dawn pro had no problem to ring that.

This DAC is actually pretty amazing for its size, it drives 300 ohm heapdhones without any issues - but please do use the balanced output to achieve the best possible amplification.
