Spec OEM part to replace cracked original part. Exact fit! Not an easy part to replace on driver side. Need low clearance drive tool with torx but once you have that it goes in easy and works great! Ordered a spare because I am sure the passenger side it not to far behind! Quick shipping was awesome!

Perfect fix, but I recommend you do like I did and order 2... Just in case. After install the alignment was ever so slightly off and after a cycle or 2 I heard a slight "tick" after each rotation. Took it apart again and saw the new gear had a slight crack in it from the force of the actuator. Realigned and put on the 2nd one and PERFECT and silent.

Looks a touch different than the factory part, but easy swap on swap off without issue. Solved blend door problem. If you are replacing this, may as well replace the actuator too...its not much more and you have to pull the old one off to get to this part anyway. Think my actuator went bad and caused the factory gear to crack...but not an issue now that I swapped out both. Get the low rise ratcheting screwdriver people suggest as well. Really helps you get to that inner star screw on the actuator.

This fit my 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee. The passenger side vents would only blow "regular" air. No heat in the winter and no AC in the summer. Replacement was fairly simple. You WILL NEED and some kind of "mico" or "mini" ratchet to make the repair. Make sure the teeth on the new gear fit correctly on the actuator before you button everything up. Lots videos available on replacing this part. From what I understand, the driver side gear is much more difficult to replace. Good luck.

The part fit my jeep as exact. However, the whole dash board needs to be removed in order to get to this part location. Jeeps are known for the trap to get hot and melt and cause the air conditioning unit to not get cold on one side. Doesn't make any sense that EVERYTHING is made of plastic anymore and I'm sure I'll have to replace it again at some point.

The driver-side of our 2011 Jeep GC was blowing only heat. I curse Jeep for a) making an integral part of the HVAC system plastic and b) making an integral part of the HVAC system nearly inaccessible. Nearly being the keyword. It took a while, but with the #20 torx that we shortened, we removed the actuator and relaced this part (the broken pieces fell out during disassembly). I've heard its much easier on the passenger side. Hopefully, I won't find out. Look on youtube for helpful videos.
