If this review were for the transmission bolts at the back of the pan I'd be giving RAM a one star, but once that was off the filter fit perfectly.

Don't jeopardize your factory warranty by using aftermarket parts, and they will try to get out of covering a transmission when you've installed substandard brands, my friend can attest to that. The difference in price is better than the risk of buying something cheap. The same goes for the transmission fluid when replacing this filter. Buy the correct MOPAR fluid for this model of transmission and keep your warranty valid.

Has denso molded into the filter. It works. Maybe ram uses denso as oem?

Used for my 2016 RAM 3500 6.7 diesel with AISIN transmission. Over half the price the Dodge dealership charged for the exact same part (same part number). If you change the filter on your transmission you’ll need a little less than 10 quarts of oil.

Why purchase it for $100 more at the dealer? This is mopar brand Exactly the same as the dealership sells but for much less. No issues same fit.
