Cruise control would not work intermittently on my vehicle (Ram 3500). Found Utube video suggesting this switch was the problem. So ordered it. To install needed to remove trim panel which was no problem. Works fine since then. Disassembled failed switch and surprised to find electronic circuit inside. More than just a simple switch. Also surprised that dealership was unaware of how to repair. Took vehicle in three times and each time cruise worked when they tried it. You would think there would be a service bulletin regarding "intermittent failure of cruise control" for the vehicles that use this switch.

Direct replacement. Easy swap. My 2016 Ram 1500 kept having issues with the cruse control on button. This fixed the issue. The OEM part was causing the cruse controller to register that the break pedal was engaging enough for it to “cancel†the command to turn on about 40% of the time when pressed. After replacement, 100% fixed issue.

Replaced my switch when I broke it on accident during a heater core replacement. Installed and works like normal.
