I’ve got a lot of tools but even with this tool I got excited about using it! I would always use a screwdriver and using this tool it’s much easier than a screwdriver! I do some drag racing and that means changing jets in the carburetor and setting solid tappets. Right tool for the job.

Not a whole lot to say about this jet tool. It's made to do one very specific job and it works well. Sure, you can screw jets in and out with a screwdriver, but it's also pretty easy to mar them or ruin the slot using the wrong tool. This one works great and makes the job easier. The handle is plastic and easy to get a decent grip on. I did come across one jet that was REALLY torqued down and I actually had to get a pair of slip-jaw pliers on this Moroso tool to give me some more torque and it came right out. I couldn't have done that with a screwdriver. I don't pull jets very frequently, but I appreciate well-made tools that make jobs easier and this one wins in that category.

for years, I used a large flat blade screwdriver, which slips and chews up the jets. This tool never slips!

It's definitely a little pricey for what it is, but it does grip the jets very well. You can certainly just use a screwdriver, but sometimes these things are stubborn and this tool double-grips the jet. Plus, it centers right up on the jet and there is never any worry about marring anything. Much as I recommend the tool, I would have to say it's more of a "want" than a "need," as you can get the job done without it. But it will be well worth it to avoid even that one time you tear up a jet (not having to run to the store or wait for an ordered part to show up).

Really recommend this tool. Removed the jets from my Holley carb very quickly. Sure they hadn’t been out for years.

Nice quality tool, but it's too short to easily swap jets while the carb is still mounted if you don't pull the metering block off. If it were the same length as a regular screw driver it would make it a lot easier to get a grip on the handle.
