Picture is from 10yards with new scope just put on. “Ignore the shot placement.” The bolt fletching never came in contact with the bag, and they were easy to pull out. Rarely it was tough to pull, but that was due to the kinetic energy and heat which was visible on the tip on the bolt. This target is great and worked well for my setup. I shot my killer instinct fuel 415fps and it stopped the bolts no problem. Saw a lot of people worried the rates Fps was a lie but turned out great, as well as I don’t believe compound bows or crossbows really shoot there advertised Fps unless you go with the light crappy arrows they send anyways (just my opinion).*This target is not meant for broad heads* really wish it could handle them , I like to shoot broadheads when sighting in , to make sure flight path is somewhat the same. The overall material seems durable , but wouldn’t recommend leaving outside exposed. Seems like it wouldn’t take much for it to become heavily weathered.Would definitely buy again.Good luck and stay safe out there.

This target is awesome! Heavy enough it doesn't move when you hit it and sturdy enough that my 405 psi crossbow didn't sink arrows to the fletching. Very easy to remove arrows. I'd put this target up against any $200 target. My 13 year old was able to retrieve arrows easily. Great product!

Today, I shot the target with a Cobra System R-Series RX Adder. The bolts went in nicely and retrieving the bolts was very easy. It was so easy to retrieve the bolts, I didn't need a shaft gripper to get the bolts out of the target. Best target I have ever owned.

As a newbie crossbow enthusiast, I was a bit apprehensive about spending this much on a target. But, some preliminary research seemed to indicate a hay bale may not be the best choice for a fairly powerful CB, so I didn't see too many options. Pulled the trigger (did you see what I did there :-) ), and the benefits of having this special-use target become obvious; just a few:- it's portable, take it where you need to. Granted it is a bit heavy, but the built in straps seem strong and work well; can't do that with a bale of hay- stops my bolts without a problem, usually leaving a little under half of the shaft exposed for easy retrievalI'm leaving off one star just because I don't know about longevity, since I've only had it short time and put maybe 50 bolts in it, and I'm not sure about how well the target colors will hold up over time. I'll update this review, if needed, when I've had more experience with it.For now though, I'm a happy camper.

360 and 405 crossbow bolts are stopped with ease. They pull out with 2 fingers. This is worth every penny. This is the best archery target I have ever owned.

Got this for use with a 420fps crossbow and it stops the arrows perfectly.

Arrows were shot with a Barnett Ghost 410 crossbow at 19 1/2 feet due to in door distance limitation. With each test the same arrow was shot twice and measurements of the protruding nock to target distance taken. Each shot was in an unshot target area. Arrows were shot through a Pro Digital Chronograph set one arrow length in front of the crossbow stirrup.Test #1: 22" Barnett Head Hunter Carbon Arrow (shaft with field point 430 grain) 400 feet per second. Nock to target distance: 10 5/8", 12 1/2".Test #2: 22" Easton 2219 (shaft with field point 486 grain) 385 feet per second. This arrow shaft is from the mid 1980-1990's, (pure aluminum) cut to length for this crossbow. Nock to target distance 9 1/4", 9 1/4".In each instance, the arrow was removed very easily. This Morrell Target (The Bone Collector 400 F.P.S. Target) is for field point only. It is a very well constructed target, shoot able on four sides with each side having a different graphic. There are two handles on the top of the target for carrying (not for hanging). This target can also be shot with a compound bow which I have done as well. The crossbow is a much higher F.P.S. bow. As with any target, when not in use, mine are always stored inside out of the weather.I have various brands and series of targets in my collection, being purchased, looking for a high quality target. Some of these other targets were cheaper while others were a lot more expensive. This target has had many, many shots and as out performed all other brands I have tried and even some in the Morrell target series. Over all I am very happy with this target and highly recommend it.

While the item Description says that this is the Bone Collector 400FPS target, which is usually meant for crossbows, what you actually get is a Morrell 400FPS Double Duty target meant for both crossbows and compounds (the picture for the item is correct). I have so far shot 50-60 arrows into this target from distances between 10 and 40 meters using a compound bow set to 29"@52lbs. None of the arrows got past the center of the target. Arrows easily come out when pulled with just two fingers and the target doesn't seem to get beaten up much at all.I shot these exact same arrows at a range recently with a foam wall and could barely pull those arrows out with both of my hands, let alone two fingers, so whatever they did with this target seems to really work - gracefully stop the arrows and make them easy to remove. So far, highly recommended! I'll update my review if this target dies prematurely for some reason, but so far I have high hopes for it!

This target has held up well so far to lots and lots of shots. It's heavy and seems strong enough to hold up for a couple more years for sure. I have just been using target points though, but they pull out fine and don't leave a huge hole. I can't say how a broadhead or crossbow bolt will hold up, but so far it's been great. The target doesn't move when you hit it as it's pretty heavy.
