Your cart is empty.Perfect Storm is a sound-activated device that allows you to control the on and off flashing of lights when the thunder sound from the CD supplied is played. This makes for great thunderstorm effects for your haunted house or home haunt/Halloween party. Simply play the CD provided with the unit with your lights plugged into the back of the Perfect Storm Box (which can be plugged into any 15 amp. 120 volt outlet). Please note that total lights used should not exceed 1000 watts of power or a reset fuse in the back of the unti will trip. If this happens, reduce lights used and hit reset button on back of unit. Besides using CD, you can also place whatever sound effect you wish into your tape player, MP3 player, smart phone etc and either place one of your stereo speakers near or in front of the Perfect Storm unit or connect the player audio line out (the proper jack cable may be needed, and is not included) to the Perfect Storm audio input jack. Using either of these two ways, when thunder is heard, lights will flash in synchronized fashion. Includes CD with over one hour of sound effects, CD player not included. Power input 120v/60 hz. Uses type 15A fuse. AC jack and audio jack. Round sensor knob on front of unit is adjustable to make lights flash to your liking. The Perfect Storm will work with a variety of different types of lights in including both incandescent and LED. (Not recommended for flourescent lights). For indoor use only. Perfect Storm 2.0 works like a charm and as advertised. I didn't listen to the audio samples on the included CD but I did do my homework up front to ensure that my lights didn't exceed 1,000 watts. The build in microphone was perfect outside only about 6 inches from the bluetooth speaker. I connected the speaker to my iphone and drove the effects sound over Bluetooth. I did not purchase a 3.5mm audio cable to test out. I searched itunes for various tracks to test out and the best one that worked for me was "Heavenly Weather (Thunderstorm Sounds) 2017 - Track 5 - Thunder and Lightning". I let the track play through and kept adjusting the sensitivity knob to get the right amount of lightning flash vs. rain. It worked like a charm and I got so many compliments from both the trick-or-treaters and the parents. Definitely worth the investment. For the record, because it's an electronic device, I did not leave it out in the rain. For next year, I'm going to cut out a rectangular hole in a plastic storage container to allow the sound to get to the microphone and put the unit inside of the container with the lid on to keep the moisture out. We will see!UPDATE: I've taken impeccable care of my Perfect Storm 2.0, packing it in the original box each year and have never dropped it or gotten it wet. I was disappointed to set it up the day before Halloween to test it out to find out it no longer works. While the unit is 4 years old, it's worked like a charm and I've only had it on for about 4 hours on Halloween night only for the past 4 years. I'm using the same 300-watt light fixture I've used each year that has worked fine and this year the light just stays lit up and it doesn't respond to the soundtrack I always use. I tried the built-in microphone and the 3.5 mm auxiliary jack and neither works. I still give it 5 starts but I'm pretty disappointed it didn't last longer than 4 years, given the limited use.

Works great. I used it for lightning and thunder but it can be used for music you can plug in colored lights because its sound sensitive. Endless possibilities

Although I didn't get to use it for Halloween this year, I set it up and it worked perfectly! I ripped the CD onto my computer, and the thunder sound effects are pretty realistic! I used a blue LED flood light to look like natural lightning.I will be using it for next year on Halloween for my cemetery scene, although with the lame curfew hours nowadays, (trick or treating starting at 5:30 before it's even dark for over an hour!! 🤬) It won't show up until about 7:00 7:30 at night. This Gen X mama is fed up with these dumb rules nowadays. Totally ruins Halloween.But I digress. This is an amazing addition to any Halloween yard haunt!!

Worked exactly like it was suppose to. I had multiple lights on a power bar hooked up to it to work simultaneously. Did not use the CD I had a track on my phone already

Love this product !Added a whole new level to our Haunted House !Only suggestion would be to reduce some of the thunder gaps in the CD. These gaps are reaslistic but some quick house passes missed the full effect.

Worked great for my Halloween haunted house... the effect was awesome !!!I received version 2.0 which has the build in microphone.A fonctionné parfaitement pour ma maison hantée... l'effet est superbe.
