This has 10-32 threading, so I threaded the end of my Ideal fiberglass fish tape with a 10-32 wing nut. Then I applied Loctite into the female threading and screwed the extension onto the fish tape. Works great, and definitely not coming off.

the steel cable that is at the end of the fiberglass is too floppy and gets tangled in conduit

I purchased this item for a nylon fish snake we have at work, and cut the threaded end of it (since it didn't work for out application) replacing it with a crimp and it has worked great ever since!! The nylon fish snake it's great on it's own, however this flexible leader allows it to go faster and much smoother than before.

It's OK for small jobs as for 1/2" conduit. The fiberglass is curlled and a little thin.Would recomend a bigger one for bigger conduit.

Well made ,Also fits Ideal Nylon fish tape with the braided stainless core .Too bad the companies do not make fish tape at 120 -130 feet length because maximum distance between pulls is 100 feet ,10 lengths of conduit or 360° of bends in total you need another box
