I have almost lost my diamond earrings twice with screw backs . I found a way to cope but it meant adding plastic pieces to the backs of my earrings making them look silly from behind . These earring backs lock them into place and I have no worries. The price is steep but it’s worth it . I wear my diamonds everyday and do not take them out to sleep . I will buy more of these as I grow my diamond earring collection .

I recently lost one of my diamond earrings and was blessed enough to find it a week later. I was on a mission to find the perfect safety backs so I would never have to worry about losing another earring again. I read tons of reviews and was impressed by the reviews for this one. I will admit after I received them and slid them on the post, I was a little skeptical that they would work properly, only because they seem to float on my earring posts. I put my earrings in and slid the backs on and continued to check them over and over for a few days. Much to my surprise, the backs stayed in the same position. They never moved. I keep these earring in 24/7 so I'm showering, sleeping, exercising, sliding clothes on and off over my head and they NEVER move. It does take a few tries to figure out how they work and the best way to remove them, but once you do, you will LOVE them! The design is GENIUS!!! I've had them for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier! If you are wanting well made, reliable safety backs, look no further.

I LOVE this product. I was skeptical at first and a little hesitant. However, they worked magnificently! Easy to put on and they stay on. Don’t suffocate my ear lobe. I had screw on backings for my diamond earrings and was so frustrated with them. But, don’t think there was anything else that would work and be secure enough….until these!! Game changer!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have almost lost my 2 carat diamond earrings on 2 occasions, solely because the twist backing that came with the earrings would always come loose. I would check it periodically during the course of the day to one day, it was not there. Thankfully it was just the backing and not the diamond.This product is a Game Changer. My boyfriend bought me these BEAUTIFUL diamond earrings for Christmas one year. He got them with screw-on backs because I had lost MULTIPLE sets of valuable earrings while WEARING them! It was a curse! One night as we were turning off the lights in the main house to go to bed, he and I heard the sound of two bits of something clatter to the floor… it was one of my earrings and the screw on back!! If he hadn’t witnessed it himself, he would NEVER have believed it. I found an old pair of earrings I never wore and used the back of those to secure my good ones.Flash forward to this summer, 2024, at an amusement park. My stepdaughter looked up and said “hey your earring is about to fall out.†My earring was BARELY inside my earring hole, the back was totally missing! I was so grateful that the front hadn’t fallen out.I needed a solution. Research, research, research…. These backs came up. I gasped about the cost…. But in the grand scheme of things, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the value of the earring itself. I was apprehensive, but gave in. I am SO GLAD I DID. These are the most secure earring backs I’ve EVER HAD. They even work well on the earring post made for screw on backs!They don’t look like much. I plugged them on. I tugged, and tugged, and tugged. They didn’t move. Not until I pulled the “release mechanism†thing at the top of the backing.If you’re on the fence about these because of the cost, what is $55 for the security of your $1,000+ jewelry?

I bought this earring back, but now one of the bearing balls has rusted, I kept getting a rush and like infection on my earlobe and cleaning would not work, until I used hydrocortisone it would get better and then get bad again over and over for months; I work with microscope and one day I cleaned the earring back and got curious and check the piece under the scope to find that one of the baring balls is rusted. I own 2 sets of the gold, and I also check those they are ok.

These work really well and are very comfortable. I prefer them to screw backs that I've had in the past. That being said, they need to be 50-100% larger in diameter than they are. These things are really tiny and not cheap. If you have thicker artificial nails, they can be even a little more tricky to take off properly. I don't sleep in my earrings so I take them off daily. If you wear them all the time, then this probably won't effect you as much. It has gotten easier over the last month that I've had them. I'd give them 5 stars if they were a more appropriate size. If you drop one, they are the devil to find.

They are effective and comfortable. I’ve been wearing them for well over a month without removal and haven’t had any mishaps. I’ve been afraid to wear expensive earrings because I used to always lose mine. I’m thinking I may be safe to try another expensive set. Impressed.

Got some little diamonds on our honeymoon & never want to lose them. I've always worried to wear them cause of the sentimental value. I took the plunge cause of the cost but they are AMAZING! I wear my earrings every day now & sometimes have a fiddle to take them out to clean them. It feels so secure, maybe that's just the earrings have a grove at the ends & this stops the backs coming off but these work for me. Hope I don't jinx myself now!

So far, I've had these on since I received them and they've been great! That's been about 3 weeks. I put these on my diamond earrings which I don't take off at all. I find them very comfortable and secure.
