Some tips before installation:
. In order to ensure the consistency of the shock absorber, it is best to choose the shock absorber to be replaced in pairs.
. The bearing on the top of the shock absorber should be lubricated (grease), and the waterproof dust cover must be put in place to ensure that it is not damaged.
. It is particularly difficult to remove the end nut of the telescopic tappet of the shock absorber (the spring must be fastened with an iron wire), and it is easier to install.
. When installing the ball head (suspender) of the balance bar, press down with an iron rod to install it smoothly.

Was expecting the large (19mm) attaching nuts would have been biggest challenge with strut R&R, but the tie-rod nut was the biggest PITA. Eventually able to remove the old hardware and all fastener locations lined up perfectly on these replacement struts to quickly reassemble. Increased ride height by ~4", no more "clunk-clunk" when hitting road bumps, ride feel is firm and much more stable.

Product came on time and exactly like shown in the picture, but I got confuse at first when I got it because on the box it has a picture of a different kind of strut and when I opened the box it had the correct strut in it, so if you look at the advertising picture of the product I got the strut that’s shown on the picture of actual part not the picture of part that’s on the box.It wasn’t too bad to install had to get back seats out of the way though, jack up the car put it on jack stands take wheels off remove screws and bolts from strut take it out put new one in put bolts and screws back in, put back seat back on.I’m a mechanic and do my own repairs.

I was skeptical about these after market strut and spring assemblies at first. But after hours of searching and comparing other brands, I want to give them a try as my 12+ years old Lexus ES350 front and rear shock absorbers were about to go out (no evident of leakage yet but they starting to make noise). It took me 4 hours to install all 4 of them and they fit perfectly. So far they are functioning just like the stock parts. Given the quality construction of these shock absorbers I would expect them to last. I would buy this brand again for my other vehicle when it is time in the future.

When I first bought then they cancelled the order which pissed me off however they said they didn’t pass quality control so I guess better th hat they didn’t, I ordered another set I replaced the x’s struts on her 2005 Toyota Solara for some payment wink wink lol, installation was smooth with new tie rod ends(had to cut old ones off), they work great for the price, would recommend

Feels stiffer, of course for brand new struts. Does seem to ride a tiny bit higher, but no complaints. Smooth ride for a 2005 camry LE with 170K miles.

You are better off keeping the broken struts than replacing with these ones. Clunk like it’s broken and handle like it’s broken. Try contacting the manufacturer and they couldn’t even try troubleshooting. Referring me to Amazon customer support. The quality of this product is below one star, which I would have rated if possible. The noise is constant and disturbing. Spend the extra money and buy an American made product and don’t go through this garbage.
