Nothing to dislike. If you can not find the cb to disconnect the live wire to the motion light turn off the light switch and cut and connect the wires during daylight. I did have to reset the distance and on time several times.

It took me awhile to get this dialed in but it works great to turn on a lighted sign in my garage when I have my hands full just so I have SOME light. Great purchase.

I found these easy to install, and had 3 motion lights with weathered and worn out sensors. TIP: If you aren't familiar with electricals, connect your Black-Black and White-White as per the instructions. These sensors have a Yellow wire, and your existing wire might be Red (connect Yellow-Red in that case). The replacement sensor for a single lamp with 2 par38 bulbs was easy. My other 2 lights are wired in series and covering the wider driveway area on a 2 car garage. The first was successful, but the 2nd lamp (end of the 2 lamp fixture series) is giving me trouble. The sensor flashes red with motion, but the LED bulbs don't come on like they do for the other lamp in the series. I'll keep at it as weather permits, but these DO work with my Honeywell lights and are worth the money so far.

I got a motion light off of Amazon - and discovered that the motion sensor didn't work work well. The range was off - and even at the highest sensitivity level, you had to be 1/2 way up the drive before it came on - and sometimes the light would go off too quickly. I was afraid I was going to have to throw it out. I liked the light itself - but the motion sensor was bad.On a whim, I decided to see if I could find a sensor to replace the one I had. This one was well reviewed - so I thought I would try. Interestingly, when I got this one, the shape was virtually identical to the one I was taking off. The only real difference was the connector into the light - and that the one on the light itself had on branding. I was concerned that this might be just like the one I was taking off.As I mentioned, the connector was different (the one on the existing light was snap in - and this one had a plastic nut that screwed into the light). The hole was really the same though - and there wasn't quite enough space for the nut inside the light - but I made it work. After it was running, I saw it definitely wasn't like the one I was replacing. The sensor was adjustable and I got it to work just the way I want. (The light comes on when I'm at the bottom of the drive - but doesn't come on for cars that pass in the middle of the road.) If I wanted to nit-pick, the daylight sensor seems a bit weak - and even if it is a dark gray day, the light will come on (even though it is light enough that it isn't needed). But on somewhat brighter days it works as expected. That's not enough of a problem for me to take off a star. For the price this was a great solution - and it kept a bit of electronic garbage out of the landfill for some more time. I recommend this one.

We installed the new sensor yesterday. No issues with installation. Light is back to working properly. We would recommend!

The nature of the installation is of course time consuming, which means I missed the return window. One unit ('A') is on all of the time. The other unit ('B') seems to react at maximum distance of 30. Even though I set it to the max distance of 50ft.Over the night, unit 'B' would trigger several times during the night. I had a camera pointed to the coverage area and there was no other person or animal detected. Seems like it would trigger randomly or by the wind movement of the small tree below it. Trigger should be from the heat given off by a warm-blooded mammal.Timer ON time was set at 10 minutes but would stay on for 30 minutes. As stated, unit 'A' would just stay on all of the time.Units would operate correctly during daylight, ie they would be off during the daytime.

I refurbished an ancient twin security light that had just about fallen apart - the manufacturer went out of business 30 years ago. Aside from fixing, cleaning and respraying, I bought this dusk-to-dawn sensor. After adjustment, it's consistently sensitive to any motion in our car port, while the old one was not, and our other lights in the yard tend to come on only if they're in a good mood. I'm very happy with it.
