Yes, these little ‘puck lights’ are quite versatile. You can use them in a variety of places. They are small - roughly the same size and shape of a hockey puck, and could be used for that if needed, but I used them to light up my stairwell. It is not a fully open stairs and these little pucks were just what I needed to help me navigate the stairs when it’s dark.They can be adjusted so they are motion sensitive. So, when I go down the stairs in the early morning (when it’s still dark) in my pre-coffee zombie state, they light up the step as my foot moves past each one of them.The color and intensity of the light can also be adjusted. There are five levels of brightness on each of the three different color modes - which you can adjust from two little buttons on the casings of the pucks, or use the handy remote. There is a white light choice, a yellow light choice and a combination of both. Pushing the appropriate button on the side of the puck consecutively changes the intensity of light you get. I chose the lowest level on yellow light. (The white light mode was too brilliant for me, given my zombie condition.) The remote gives you more options including timed periods, and all the choices available that involve brilliance and color.I am super pleased with them. Because of the different levels and colors, they can be used in your closet, your basement stairs, your garage, or any other place you want a light to come on when you enter. They are very useful in places like a backyard tool shed that has no electricity. I like them a lot and can highly recommend them.

These are great lights that are very bright.They sometimes just stay on with no motion and I can't figure it out. But I put them in an area where that is kind of okay.They are made well and seem super durable.The light is really nice and soft, yet bright enough to really light up a place.Good for closets!

I needed these for some no-light areas, and they work perfectly. The magnet idea is awesome, and installing the lights where you want them is a breeze. The brightness is adjustable, as is each light's behavior - you can manually turn it on for constant lighting, turn it off, or you can set it to auto, which senses when it is dark enough and only comes on when light is needed. I use the auto setting. I charged the lights when they first arrived and they charged quickly. There are four lights, but only two charging cords, and the package contains both a card with tips, and printed instructions. They come with a remote. I really like them.

With magnetic back, very easy to put up and use. Daughter really likes the changing lights and colors. Wish colors were more noticeable. A bit light.

I wanted to put up some motion-sensitive lights around my home that would come on when you are in the area. I saw this 6 pack of lights that is loaded with features and I had to give them a try.The lights arrived very well packaged. The kit includes 6 lights, 2 USB charging cables, 8 metallic plates with tape on one side, a user manual, and a remote control.The lights charge with the included USB cables and once charged they can last for up to 90 days in the motion-sensitive mode.There is a switch on the lights that you can select on, off, and auto modes. Auto mode will cause the lights to come on when it is dark and the light senses motion.The remote control is the best way to control these lights. There are 2 auto modes, night and day. In night mode the lights will only come on when it is dark and they sense motion. They will stay on for 30 seconds. This is the mode I use. In day mode the lights come on with motion even if it is not dark.You can also select the brightness and the color of the lights with the remote control. There are also light flashing and color-changing modes you can select. I will be mainly using white with these lights but it's nice having the option to change the colors for special events.The remote controls all of the lights and you can control them all at once if they are close enough together.There is a magnet on the back of each of these lights so you can attach them to metal surfaces. Since my walls are drywall, under the paint on the corners are metal plates that the magnets hold tightly to. If you do not have a metal surface then you can use the metal disks included and attach them anywhere with the 2-sided tape on the back. You can then attach the lights to these.These lights are very bright. I have them set up strategically around my home so if I were to get up at night it lights my pathway.I have put on in the bathroom and closet as well.These are very well-made and very versatile. I have used other similar lights that do not last as long as these do and are not as bright.I am very happy with these lights. I do recommend these for multiple uses.
