Horrible. Poor quality, does not fit well, the red key inside the cylinder has a lot of free play and leaks gasoline.Horrible. Mala calidad, no ajusta bien,la llave roja dentro del cilindro tiene mucho juego libre y liquea gasolina.

I was able to replace without removing choke. It took care of my problems.

Ordered this to replace the cracked one on my Evinrude 48 SPL. Got the product on time but the valve holder was too large for the valve that came with it therefore it leaked and was useless.

It worked, kinda. My old one had a crack in it and a major leak, so anything would be better than what I had. This one fit pretty loose. I reused the o-ring from the old unit as it was slightly bigger and gave a better seal. No leaks but it didn’t seem to engage the choke in the manual setting. Not a big deal for me. I ordered an original OEM replacement at the same time as this one. The OEM had a longer shipping time and I was going on a fishing trip. This one got me by until the OEM part arrived and I just swapped it out. The OEM fit much better and worked in the manual mode in the off chance I needed it. So, bottom line- works in a pinch, but just buy the OEM.

The sandwich gasket was the only thing that didn't leak. I had to remove the pet cock because the Schrader valve wouldn't stop leaking. On top of that the o-ring that was supplied was way too small and did not fit properly. I ended up removing the entire Pet cock with the Schrader valve and reinstalling the old pet cock without a Schrader valve and a new larger o-ring. Now my engine idles as it should

Used to replace a cracked red valve lever on the primer solenoid of a 1992 60 hp Johnson. The red valve lever thingy is a sloppy fit in the top piece but at least it didn’t leak. Not yet anyway. Btw, don’t expect to just replace the red valve lever part. It doesn’t fit the OMC top piece properly and will leak as soon as any fuel pressure is applied. (Don’t ask me how I know.) I would have preferred the actual Sierra part, but it was out of stock everywhere.

The O-ring was too loose, and it leaked gas all over the place

Looks the same as original, but the bring is too small, needs to be just a tad bigger to seal properly. Other than that looks fine. Personally I just rolled a piece of teflon tape around it twice got rid of the excess tape and the o-ring is a nice tight fit.
