1) - How the Battery Monitoring Mode works?
- Turn on the mode by double-clicking the button
- LED indicators will flash to display the battery status
a) Pulsing Green: Battery is good
b) Pulsing Yellow: Battery is in medium condition
c) Pulsing Red: Battery is empty (need to charge)
- Press the button again to quit the mode
2) How the Battery Protecting Mode works?
- The usb charger output will be cut off automatically when the battery voltage drops under 11.6V so as to avoid battery over-discharge.

The only thing that would make this better would be a splitter at the SAE port to allow for a charger/battery tender to be connected while the adapter is connected. The ON/OFF button is easy to access even with gloves and the LED indicator is bright enough to see in full Florida sunlight.This device is a powerful quick charge. I can connect my phone, and a passenger phone at the same time. With both screens full brightness turned up and still charge faster than they will discharge.Great item, do recommend and if need be will buy again.

Don't worry, could happen to all of us.. phone died and away from home i use my phone for navigation on my indian motorcycle and having a good USB charger keeps me on the road to my destination! Recommended 100%

I recently ordered two online, one for my roommate and myself. We both installed ours before we went out on a Saturday cruise . The product is easy to use other than the on/off button is a little difficult to use with your gloves on. Installs very straight forward , I ran mine from the batter under the gas tank and up to the triple tree zip-tied down. After about 30 mins or so my charger stopped working. The green light still came on but would not charge any phone you tried on it with any different cable, it simple was not working anymore. I contacted the company , they immediately responded to me same day I believe and resolved the situation with refund compensation and sending me a brand new unit with no cost to me. I have yet to receive the brand new one yet , it should be here in a couple days. But even though seems I got a “dud†product first go round and my roommate continued working as designed, they took care of me as a customer and for that they earn 5 stars.

After only a couple months, the unit stopped charging my phone. The light comes on, there's proper voltage getting to the unit, tested the cable on another charger, but no power is leaving the charger to the cable. Now I can't charge my phone on longer rides. I guess garbage is what you get for 15 bucks. Not happy.

I installed it today, very easy. I really like the power button to ensure battery doesn’t get drained and shows battery status. Good quality and works perfectly. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Installed yesterday on a 2007 Wide Glide FXDWGI - simple installation - works flawlessly. The construction of this charger head is way better than I honestly expected it to be. The mounting / zip-tie straps are rubberized and flexible enough to allow for a bit of movement. The cables are high quality. I'll definitely be back for more.

Awesome little hook up for my motorcycle. I'm able to charge my phone and have a spare USB for charging my headset if needed. What I like about it is that you can turn it on and off. And the waterproof cap is actually waterproof. Charges at decent rate and powered my Christmas lights on my bike for parade. Easy install and quick. If you want a charger for your bike, buy this one. Also has 2 mounting holes in different locations for different mounting styles and option

Bought this to have a read out for my auxiliary battery. It is innacurate to about 0.7V versus multimeter. Disappointed in the accuracy as this was the whole reason i purchased a voltmeter. 0.7V is quite significant when talking about the remaining capacity in a 12V battery. It is virtually the difference of being flat and fully charged. Other than the inaccuracy the quality looks OK. Its just a pity it doesnt serve its primary purpose as a Voltmeter.
