I purchased this product so that I could be able to charge my cell phone while riding my motorcycle. The cell phone is mounted in a bracket on the handlebar and I easily wired this from the battery to the cell phone bracket. I like the rubber cap for the USB to keep water out of it as well as the rubber connectors and cap for the other end of the battery terminal wire which connects to the USB wire. It was simply to install.....5 minutes or less. It works great. I recommend this well made product.

Hooked it up with my bike pigtail and it works great. Good size not too big. Charges everything no problems

bought this to install on my Harley bagger so my wife could charge her phone as we ride. Thing you need to understand about my wife is, she likes to take a lot of pics as we ride. In the past she has drained the battery on her phone faster than it could recharge it. Several years ago I bought a similar product from another manufacturer that was 2.4 amps. It did ok for her, but it got wet last year and one of the ports went bad. I found this one with the increased charging rate, so I thought we would give it a try. So far so good. My wife has not complained about a dead phone battery, so I can assume it working great for her.

This one item replaced 2 items that I have used on my motorcycle. Use one end to be able to trickle charge my motorcycles battery. The other connection can be used while riding, to charge either 1 or 2 usb items at a time such as cellphones and gps. Time will tell. But it looks like it will be well worth the investment.

I bought this one because comments on here said the amount of battery drain was insignificant. NOT TRUE.WARNING: It consumes a small amount of power just sitting there - no USB device connected. Not really a problem when riding daily. I took a week off due to weather and bike wouldn't start. Barely enough battery left to run lights. Instead of taking the ride I was planning, I had to charge the battery that evening. So now, I have to open the seat cover to plug it in or unplug it from battery. Not marking a star down for this, but it is something to consider. This is a fact of life to convert 12V to 5V - there is a resister that consumes a small amount of power. When running the engine, the generator will overcome this loss. When engine off and parked, be careful. How long until trouble develops if you leave this hooked up to your battery depends upon the size of your battery.Otherwise, it works as advertised, has plenty of cord, and a secure rubber cover.I will buy another one that comes with a cut-off switch (built-in) for my bike and remove this one.

El producto esta muy muy bien construido. Es fácil de incorporar a cualquier parte. NO consume energÃa cuando no se conecta algo a cargar. Cabe señalar que si no desconectar tu celular de la carga y esta prendida la moto, esta sigue consumiendo energÃa y por lo tanto cargando el celular.Tambien, pese a que haya lluvia fuerte, el dispositivo carga adecuadamente.

I have a small issue addapping to my old plug. But customer service was a 5 out of 5.Product works great. Still have to wait for a rainy day to check water proofing.But I plan to buy another for my other bikes
