I assembled this in a few minutes and put it to use. Yes, it came with instructions. I easily lifted my 500# adventure bike right off the ground. It's a little tricky lifting from the side stand, because of the lean angle, but the bike lifted right up and went down easily as well. It's not hard to lift the weight either. The swing arm pads barely fit on my bike (width wise) but did work w/o issue. Run a pipe through your axle, or use spools for lifting with the U shaped support.Price/quality /function on this is a good balance. If you want super nice, pay for super nice, this works well and I have no complaints.

The Motorcycle Rear Wheel Stand with U+L Fork Swingarm Spool is a solid and practical tool for motorcycle maintenance. This stand offers excellent stability and support when lifting your bike, making tasks like chain adjustments, tire changes, and cleaning much easier. The U+L fork design ensures a secure and balanced lift, accommodating a wide range of motorcycle types, especially those with swingarm spools. The construction is durable, with a strong steel frame that can handle the weight of most motorcycles. The stand is easy to assemble and use, with smooth rolling wheels that make positioning and maneuvering your bike a breeze. The adjustable width allows for a good fit with different motorcycle models, making it versatile and adaptable to your needs. However, one potential downside is that it may take a little extra effort to lift heavier bikes, especially if you're working alone. The stand is best suited for lighter to medium-weight motorcycles, though it still offers reliable support for heavier models with the right technique.Overall, the Motorcycle Rear Wheel Stand with U+L Fork Swingarm Spool is a great investment for any rider looking to simplify maintenance tasks. It’s affordable, durable, and effective, making it a valuable tool for keeping your motorcycle in top condition.

I have used at least a dozen different bike stands in my many years of motorcycling. The budget ones like this are generally good enough for the average owner. The professional grade ones can easily cost $200 and up. The claimed 850 pound rating is more than enough as even big sport bikes don't exceed 500 pounds even fully fueled. But this FocoMyLord one is not one I would buy, though the basic build quality is good and it comes with both hooks (U) and pads (L) at an attractive price.Unless you have spools (or as the Brits call them 'bobbins') on your bike's swingarm you can only use the pads. I like these pads. They are solid metal covered with a protective rubber/plastic type coating. And they're nicely sized. If you plan to use this without spools it can be recommended. But check the width of your swingarm as the measurements given by the seller are not accurate. However, I can't recommend this if you plan to use it with spools as the hooks don't offer the proper orientation. Look at the photos. One shows the bike on a typical stand with the 'hook' facing straight up as it should for maximum stability and load bearing. But this one has the hooks facing too far backwards. If you were to quickly lift up your bike there's a chance it would slip over the back hook and maybe tip over. The weight is also not directly over the strongest part of the stand. And you can't adjust how the hook faces very much as the post it's on is not round. The flat part of the post is what the holding bolt needs to tighten down on so there's limited adjustment room. Also, when I had the bike on these hooks the handle portion would not sit flat on the floor as it should. I would never use these hooks as the bike is just not stable enough with them. Pics are with a 650 Ninja.Further, while these will adjust wide enough for most sport or standard type bikes, the width measurements listed are wrong. See the photos for actual width. Neither the hook or the pads will allow for the claimed widths. For pads you only have 12 inches of width, not enough for one of my large displacement bikes. Also the plastic paint protectors designed to sit between the floor and the painted handle broke on both sides the second time I used this (see photo, there should be only two pieces). These things break on all the stands I've used but usually last longer.I wish this was better designed as the lift handle and the hardware seem solid and good quality. As is I would only buy this to use with the pads (what they call 'L' inserts).Note that the photos in the listing are just bad Photoshop and not this item in actual use. One shows the bike being lifted by the rear axle nut. Do NOT do this as you will tip the bike over, maybe onto yourself.

This is a well made stand, very heavy duty, and well designed. It works well on almost any bike, and has two different lift brackets so it fits different types of bikes easily. It was easy to put together, no real instructions needed, if you've ever used one of these you know how it goes together, but there are instructions included, and mine came with all the necessary parts and peices, nothing missing. I think this is a great value for the money.
