I work in TV on set and use it every day. My ear lobes are very sensitive to most ear plugs; even the soft rubber fitted headsets give me headaches and sore ears for days. This style of D-ring headset works well for me, is very comfortable, and allows me to hear people talking in front of me as well as the chatter on the radio clearly. I've had this particular headset for almost 6 months and it's had some rough treatment (and it's been used in some, but not a lot, of rain/snow conditions) but it still works perfectly, so I'm really happy with the durability/price.I prefer the single cord style of headset as well, as opposed to the two cord / piece construction of other standard headsets, which makes feel more similar to an iPhone headset, and less like a big, annoying work headset. It's simple, sleek, and works. I'm 6'3 and the cord is just barely long enough for me to feed it down my back, so I might not recommend it for someone taller, though it does stretch.

You can ignore every review that says the cord is too short. I'm 6'5" and have no problem with the cord length from ear to walkie, or from ear to microphone.I have used this earpiece with the walkie clipped on my belt and deep in my front pocket.ZERO issues with a Motorola DLR 1060 radio.

The sound quality for this is incredible and it's also nice that I don't have to stick it in my ear. I wish the cable had an extra 6-12 inches in length however. I do feel it pulling at times. Throughout the day, I do find myself adjusting it because it isn't the most comfortable device around my ear. Despite that, it works pretty well and maybe I just have big ears.

I bought this to wear at work (Aldi) because we move a ton and I was having trouble hearing my walkie. This stays attached to my shirt great and even though it doesn’t have the part that goes into your ear canal, it still stays over the ear without issue. Has great sound quality and is very comfortable, no ear in from it sitting on your ear.

At first had issues but it was my radios connection. Switched radio and it works fine. No issues with others hearing me. Clip holds good on a pinched shirt. Took a while to get used to and adjusted to fit my ear but now I forget I’m wearing it.

The sound dropped in and out from the first hour I used this earpiece with my standard walkie talkie. I plugged another earpiece in the same walkie talkie and it’s worked totally fine for the entire time. This product came to me broken/malfunctioning.

I like the earpiece. Sits well and I can be heard clearly. I use it 5 days a week at work and it stopped working after 4 months of use.

I love this. Was tired of the screamers (you know those AD’s..) in my in-ear tube style headset & cold weather performance (popping out of your ear) & the discimfort of having something stuck in your ear for >12-hrs a day… So love these headsets, hope they last!Mics are great solid action too. And cord is plenty long.
