Honestly, I love these, I use them all the time. They're so easy to put on once you get the hang of it. Love that you can wash them, I haven't had issues besides strings coming loose but i just snip those. The plastic can come out but you can reconnect it and/or reinstall if needed. I never have to deal with a cold seat in my bathroom anymore and it's great.

After reading other reviews about these not surviving a whirl in the washer, I decided to try them anyway. The first day after putting one on I found a blood stain as it's my granddaughter's time of the month. I threw it into the washer along with my sweatpants and t-shirts and it came out looking just as good as it did out of the package. Maybe others put theirs in the washer along with something sharp like zippers or hook'n'eyes.

Never did I think I'd need a cover for a cold toilet seat here in Florida, but when we moved from the Tampa Bay area to north central FLA, we realized the one of the main differences was how cold it can get during late December through early March. We see some freezing weather here, mostly at night, and these covers come in very handy. Here's our take on them:PRO:Rather easy to install if you check out their pictures and instructions they have in the listing.Comfortable and soft. No more hovering above the seat to avoid the cold.More colorful than most others I've seen for sale.Good price. About a buck and half a piece! No funky smells. I have no idea how long these have been hermetically sealed, but they didn't have off-smelling odors.CON:It would have been great if the pictures and instructions had been included with the package of covers. Nothing fancy, just half a sheet of paper with the same instructions listed above would have been helpfulThese are polyester, not cotton, so if you're sensitive to polyester, these might not be for you. But then again, it depends on how long you linger on the throne. My laptop shows vibrant colors, like turquoise, sunny yellow, tangerine orange, and bright blue. What we got are darker colors with more brown added in, like harvest gold instead of sunny yellow and a terra cotta instead of tangerine, and navy not bright blue.More clarification on the tube. It was disconnected and I almost just cut it short and contemplated just removing the entire thing. I finally reconnected the ends and the cover fit better. But there was no way it would have fit if the tubes had stayed connected. I think it would actually help to show that they are disconnected and explain that you need to reconnect them in order to get a snug fit.Shrink-wrapped items can be a great way to store items and possibly even save some money in shipping, but it needs to be explained that this is what you will receive and to take some time fluffing the item before attempting to install the cover first. Just a boxed Christmas, wreath, or garland, when you take them out of the package, you need to let the air puff up the item and even give the cover a bit of a stretch, which will disconnect the tubing, but the tubing can be reconnected after have the cover fitted on the seat.Overall, I'm happy being able to avoid a cold toilet seat, and plan to continue to use these this winter. It's hard to find this much warmth and comfort for about $1.50!
