Based on experience with other mounts, I was anxious that this solution would not hold monitors in position, but this mount is perfect. Other brands I have tried can't hold orientation or the horizontal axis flops down.This mount holds securely in all axes.I had two 22" monitors which I used in side-by-side horizontal orientation for a while. I later added a 43" 4K monitor which I specifically chose for having a similar dot-pitch as a 22" monitor.This desk mount is great for getting the 22" monitors off the desk and holding them aligned with the 43" center monitor so that I have a nearly seamless desktop from left to right. The scale of windows does not change as I drag them from one monitor to another.I did have a minor problem with one package. The foot plate that presses on the underside of the desk was completely unscrewed and loose in the box. Thankfully, the screw and washers were also loose in the box and it was just a matter of putting it back together.

I have a few 32" 2560x1440 monitors and I wanted to combine them, finding a vertical monitor stand was somewhat tricky as a few I found couldn't hold 32" or had lower weight limit. This one held up 14 lbs monitor and once the mounts are tightened, it hasn't moved or shifted for the past month.I drilled a hole through the middle as I had a fairly large corner desk and mounting them on the edge with clam would have placed it too far. This mount kit comes with both through hole and edge mount so you can pick what suited your need the best. Do be advised, some cheap desk may not take kindly to having a hole in the middle, you need a nice strong desk with thick top or a good steel top that doesn't flex at all. Glass desk will not work, it will probably shatter.My setup has the bottom one sitting flat and the top one tilted forward so I can watch streaming video while waiting for something to happen in MMORPG I play.

The product is overall great, but I did have to drill my own hole in my desk. Because the option for the flat table clamp did not work for my desk style. Since my desk has metal bars holding up the wood. I had to do the Gromit clamp technique. Which overall looks better anyways if you look at my picture, you’ll see that it came out great. This product is very sturdy. But still does have some shake, but that has to do with your desk and not the product.

This is an excellent choice for a monitor stand if you want this configuration. It was packaged very well and easy to install.Be sure to make sure you're desk will be able to handle the clamp, or drill mount.

This was very simple and straightforward to put together, and is very sturdy. I have 2 monitors each 27" stacked horizontally. Bottom is straight, top is slightly angled down, and it is working great.
