2 360°Rotatable Knuckles
There are 2360°Rotatable Knuckles. By opening the padlock and rotating the “knuckleS”, the traction boards can be installed released easily, you quickly get them without any tool when you need to use them.
Mount 2 Recovery Boards
If you are going to mount 2 recovery boards, please ensure that the 2 knuckles are aligned in the same drientation, then put 2 boards on the pins , and turning both knuckles on each pin 90º.
Mount 4 Recovery Boards
If you are going to mount 4 recovery boards, please ensure that the 2 knuckles are aligned in the same drientation, then put4 boards on the pins , and turning the top knuckle on each pin 90º.

I saved a few dollars not buying the name brand pins. Now a days I need to save where I can. I guess only time will tell if saving now will hurt me in the long run

Cheap knock-offs that are not worth the cardboard they were sent to me in. Nut seized on the bolt half way down and would not thread off or on to tighten. Plastic broke while trying to hold it in place while trying to remove nut. Thanks to Amazon for the refund due to defective product. Stick to the name-brand devices and save yourself the return headache.

I purchased this product to fix my maxtrax sand board on my road rack. The product looks good. However, the product arrived missing 2 of the 4 nuts that should come with it.

These are good quality. Direct knockoffs of the major brand. Unfortunately, they are packaged poorly. The box was broken and missing washers and nuts.

Two out of 4 of the locknuts galled halfway down the threads. I might be able to salvage them if I cut the locknuts off and chase the threads, but this is not worth the money.

I have a knock-off brand set of traction boards and had to adjust the holes for these to fit properly. Not a big deal, just mak sure the holes are similar to the Maxx Trax and you should be fine. The materials are not amazing so we will see how these hold up in the sun through the summer. I will report back once they have a season of use on them.

On the first bolt out of the box the nut seized halfway down. It took me an hour of work to remove and save the bracket. Obviously the bolt is unusable now. I didn’t bother with the other three. Most likely the nut and bolt are the cheapest and lowest quality available. Pass on this and buy the real thing.
