So, my boss hired an associate doctor in August and when he does his notes for patients he has been sitting the cards between his keyboard and an extra box of business cards.. so I figured he needed something else with more ease of completing his notes.

What I like about it: Well, I guess something has to go in landfills. It's worthless.What I dislike:1. the "sticky" part does not stick well to plastic or metal. It requires an absolutely flat surface, and fell off almost immediately.2. the clip that's supposed to hold the papers is incredibly weak; can barely hold 5 pages of A4 paper3. it only turns forward and back, will not tilt4. it shouldn't be called "Mount It!". "Toss It!" is more appropriate.

I was looking forward to this item as a typing aid. It mounted easily enough, however, the mounting clip is pretty wide and hangs off of thinner monitors. More importantly, the spring-loaded clip is fairly weak and shallow, barely holding onto a multi-page document securely. I did okay with a page or two, however. It would be nicer if the arm was a little longer or was able to extend or retract. This device does the job but could use a little improvement.

The two-surface corner mounting makes this document holder much stronger for my thin-screen all-in-one computer. (See photo.) Having a plate on top AND side of the monitor creates a brace to prevent the downward force vector from peeling the holder off. (Engineering gibberish that translates to "it stays in place when loaded with 4-6 pages of paper.") The mounting does cover some of the cooling vents on my HP all-in-one, but apparently not enough to cause a problem.

I’ve not attempted to use more than a few papers at a time. With the few papers I’ve used, it’s worked great.
