Unfortunately, I purchased this hoping that the windscreen would reduce wind noise for use on my iPhone 15. Instead, it created an unpleasant crackly noise that made the overall sound quality worse.

Bought it, tested it, never used it and it's in a drawer. Definitely have to EQ and do some post processing.

This microphone does ok in a pinch for recording my podcast, but I wouldn’t use it exclusively. It picks up quite a bit of ambient noise

WHAT’S INCLUDED:-Movo USB-C Microphone-Stickers-Storage CasePRODUCT/THOUGHTS:This little microphone works surprisingly well for its size. I’m mainly using it to record on a smartphone, but you can use this on any device that has USB-C and can accept external mics as an input device.It really boosts the volume of a person's voice over something like a default built-in mic. Although it does come with a little wind cover, it will pick up quite a bit of sound around you, so you’ll still want as controlled ambient noise as possible when using this, however, it still is a major upgrade over your default mic. I like that it comes with a nice little carrying case so you can toss this in with your gear and not worry about it getting messed up. I can recommend it.

Tested this microphone in a soundproof room, at a sitting distance of 3ft, using a conversational voice, with the phone mounted on tri-pod. Tested it with the windscreen off, with the windscreen on, and just with the iPhone 15 Pro built-in microphone. Pulled all three tests into my DAW and compared them. (See image.) The built in iPhone 15 Pro microphone outperformed this mic by 6dB with the windscreen off and 14dB with the windscreen on, and that was in a soundproof acoustically treated environment with the iPhone in a static location. I wouldn't want to begin to imagine at how poor the quality of this mic would be moving around outdoors. Save your money. The built-in iPhone 15 mic is far better.
