First off I want to say these cards are made of a nice and thick plastic. They feel rugged. The black card has a nice flat finish and isn't very reflective at all. In all I believe the cards are accurate especially they grey card.I did 6 independent reflectance tests on the cards. I used defused sunlight for these tests. The tests were uniform and the sensor was at the same height from the cards during each test.The average reflectance for all the cards is as follows. Remember this is reflectance from defused light.White - 61.1%Grey - 20.8%Black - 6.1%Here are the numbers from the tests.Test 1:White - 61%Grey - 20%Black - 6%Test 2White - 60%Grey - 21%Black - 6%Test 3White - 62%Grey - 21%Black - 7%Test 4White - 61%Grey - 21%Black - 6%Test 5White - 62%Grey - 21%Black - 6%Test 6White - 61%Grey - 21%Black - 6%

This is an excellent set (White, black and gray) of color balance cards. Card size is perfect for my Nikon D300 and each card is thick enough so it will not bend or fold. I highly recommend this set.

These seem like nice cards, although the black one is all dirty. Is this normal?

The cards arrive as scheduled and undamaged. I'm using them in a photography course that I'm taking and they worked perfectly.Highly recommended!

This product is firm and will not bend, as I had hoped it would be. It arrived with a miniscule surface blemish on the black card, which will not influence its reflectivity. The size is adequate and will more easily fill the viewfinder screen than the much smaller, pocket-sized cards. The price was reasonable, which many products of this sort are not. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in white balance control.

They are exactly what they claim to be. Useful cards (and not too small) to slide in your pack. Thick quality - I'm happy.

All three cards have huge scratches, imression marks (very deep) and strange dirty streaks. "True black" looks more like dark gray. It is smeared with something all over. This is just some pieces of big plastic sheets for construction that were cut down to 8x10". Even edges are very rought cut.

The cards were well packaged and arrived quickly. The white and grey cards look good but I'm really disappointed in the black card which is the one I really wanted out of this group of three. The black card isn't black as shown in the photo but is rather just a dark grey in appearance. The black card also has numerous scratches and rub marks, those scratches and marks are much lighter than the rest of the card making it hard to use as a balance card. The white card had a couple dings but otherwise works okay. I don't know if this was a previously used card or just poor quality control but I'm very disappointed.
