Installing the evo all was a nightmare for missing instructions. And I gave 3 stars for that. But installing this was easy and worked at the first try. I hope it will keep working fine.

Installation took me around 30 minute on my Toyota Highlander 2017. I had MPC remote for factory fob installed a year ago. App remote is an add-on. I mounted GSM/GPS receiver on the front panel right below the switches (where start/stop button is). Confusing was app TEST mode. But you just need to remove vehicle from the app and add it back again. Take picture of S/N before installing. I wish they would add only required wires. It feels only 10% of wires are actually being used.

Overall the installation went flawless, no major issues except during the programming part which says to turn on the ignition, for me only worked when I actually start the engine rather than putting the vehicle in ignition ready mode.Otherwise, it has been working flawlessly for the last couple weeks, the cellular signal is strong and it has no problem working in the underground garage (no cell signal booster installed on property). I like the fact that the subscription is only $40 per year (cheaper if you buy 3 year at the time) vs $100+ for most factory smartphone remote start, and having built in GPS tracker is a nice addition, great for finding your vehicle in a large parking lot.I'm taking one star off because of the app, although it has been very reliable without much lag, the app itself is quite ugly without much customization. In the MPC provided installation instruction, it says to enter the phone number of MPC during the initial app setup, which I found out isn't strictly necessary, matter fact I highly recommend NOT doing it because it will permanently change the app layout to the MPC layout, which has their big logo plastered front and center in the app without any way to remove it, so now I'll have to look at this eyesore whenever I use this app. Although the default app layout just has a different company logo there instead, so you are going to look at an eyesore either way.

Our old car had a Viper Smart start and it was really solid. We enjoyed it and were expecting similar results but this remote start is pretty rough. The app crashes often, it can't reach the car due to what ever reason or it is "Down for maintenance" Its unusable.

First off I would like to say how easy it is to install the product. I added the Smartphone app and had issues. But Tech support responded quicker than I expected and was patient and helpful with solving the issues I had with my Ford F550 TRUCK! I had the pleasure speaking with Marcus from Tech Support and he even called me back when the call dropped. My only complaint was the time zone but there’s nothing I can do about that! If I could give this product and the support team 6 stars I would. Thanks again Mark and MPC.

Just had to plug and play. If you can install the remote start, this is child's play. I've used it across multiple states and I've not had one issue. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade to be able to go to a climate controlled car no matter what the weather has in store
