Please know that this cage is quite large. We got the 10 x 10 x 20 cage as a complete set. It is very long and can be used for various sports, like golf, football, soccer (precision kicking), and baseball. We use it for baseball with my grandson. He loves the target at the end. He loves to use it to practice batting, throwing, and pitching. The package is extremely heavy. Unfortunately, we lost a few pieces in transit with the first shipment because the bottom of the box was unopened when we received it, but they were quickly replaced. I recommend it. It is priced right, sturdy, easy to assemble, and has several tie-downs and metal arches to hold it in place.

excellent quality durable materials with good design and construction. VERY big. usefull for my baseball pitching practice, batting practice, soccer kicking, and golf swing. no more need to take a trip down to the cages or the course when you want to practice a bit, having it right at home has made me improve drastically since it is readily available and accessible.

I purchased this cage for use in my backyard, for my aspiring 9 year old baseball player. I needed someplace to have my son pitch that was contained, as well as someplace I could do soft toss batting with him, with an area big enough for him to swing away and make it count, without fear. This is a great portable system, and if you take care of it then it will last for sure. The netting is relatively tough, durable material, built to last. The poles included are just ok. I was a bit disappointed with their grounding component. I see these as a weak spot and will need to monitor the pole for give and sway over time, so I am removing a star here. If you use the tie down string properly, it helps, but even those will need to be monitored unless you put some other kind of mounting system together with some wood, which I might in the future. All in, this is a great value considering the quality though so I am happy.

You can set up a decent little batting cage in your single stall garage. Use this with a pop up pitching machine and you have a great winter training space.

I got this for my sons who play competitive baseball. They've been wanting a batting cage for a while now. Upon receiving the product, I noticed it was quite heavy - those are the poles that go into the ground. It comes in pieces so you'd have to connect them. The bottom piece that goes into the ground is pointed, making it easy to go in and stay put. The problem that I had was that the piece is roughly five inches long, which isn't enough to secure it into the ground. You'd have to bang it down further but I suggest you connect it one piece of the pole first so that it goes down with it. Once you have all four poles into the ground, the next part is to place the netting over it. This is where it gets complicated. The netting is heavy in regards to the rod so you can't just put it on and go to the other side thinking it'll stay - it does not. You have to have someone, preferably two, to hold the poles in place with the netting while you get the other side. Once it goes on, there are strings with stakes that you put into the ground to keep it from falling over. I was ignorant to see that the batting cage is missing a side. This cage is for those wanting to hit off a tee. My sons are wanting to use the pitching machine. There is no way to do this without having a back wall (net) to stop the balls. So, I think this cage is missing that piece and would be so much better if it came with it. It comes with a "target cloth" which should be called a strike zone, but I'm just happy it comes with it. The pricing is a little high compared to the products out there on the market with a complete setup.

The build quality is pretty nice and it feels durable. It's really big, good for kids and adults. It was a lot easier to assemble than I thought it was going to be. No complaints, I'm very happy with this net.

It's a little bit peculiar how they market this cage, but at the end of the day, I can't complain about the quality. I think that initially, the manufacturer intended for it to be a golf swing practice "cage." But that over time, they saw the possibility of marketing it towards players of baseball, softball, even cricket. Although it's odd because in the most practical application of using the cage back as sort of a backstop, it's not going to actually stop the ball from returning after it's hit (if used for batting practice and the batter is facing the open end). If you have a pitching machine setup, you're limiting how much space you can have between that and the hitter. But all that aside, the net itself is durable. It's small enough that it will prevent a golf ball from getting through. Tough enough to stop a tee ball from making it through. The frame itself isn't too bad. And it's also a plus that it can be moved in a fairly short period of time, if you want to transport it or take it down to keep it from being exposed from the elements too long. Been using primarily for golf swing practice, and it's been very helpful in that regards.

I ordered the net only, not the entire kit.The net is very heavy, durable and made of high quality material. Comparable to the local batting cage we use at the park. It was easy to set up but took two people due to the heaviness of the net.My seven year old daughter loves using it in the backyard and it gives me peace of mind that my windows will stay in tact.
