As a former owner of a coffeeshop, I have to say this lil machine really does an impressive job of making espresso shots and frothing milk for no bigger than it is and the price point! My friend has one and has had hers for 8 years and talked me into buying this one, and so far, I am very pleased! It is VERY easy to use!!!

A little slow on delivery on day it was supposed to be received. Was not early as many orders are. Made good espresso. Wife likes as well but we do not use very often. We have had to reduce caffeine on Dr.'s orders.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have had different Mr. Coffee espresso machines over the years so I'm no stranger to how to use them and the effectiveness of them. Sadly the one I've been using for about a year now died yesterday morning. Just would turn on anymore. I purchased this one and was delivered same day. This morning while making my drink it EXPLODED! For your safety please do NOT buy this maker!

You really need a 4 cup carafe or you will have brewed espresso spewing all over. I got my carafe on Amazon. Also, this machine is very light weight, so you have to get a good, strong grasp while securing the handle (that holds the ground espresso). Still, great starter machine. All I need is basic functions; the steamer is of no use to me because I don’t do dairy.

Good price, just the right size for my limited counter space kitchen, and it made my visiting son very happy. It was easy to clean after he left and showed no signs of wear.

I took a risk on this after seeing some sketchy reviews about them blowing up. I simply couldn’t spend a fortune on a better one. I’ve had no issues so far but I do follow the directions super closely. It’s been about 2 weeks and I’m enjoying the machine.I’ve used it to make cappuccinos, lattes and milk steamers for my kids. It gets hot enough and seems to work well. I plan to hold on to the box in case anything goes south before the return date. I will update this if it breaks.

So.. I do iced Americanos from home .. F DnD There’s only so many times they can get your order incorrect before you say I can do it myself for cheaper.. pros—So it’s fast !! makes a pretty decent cup of espresso, Makes a decent amount per run , I know you’re probably not supposed to but you can squeeze about 5 cups per run if you want to.. , It has a small footprint on the counter, CONS— it’s messy !! The mess is why I’m getting rid of it. It splatters ALL over the countertop.. because 2.) it doesn’t come with a carafe like other similar price pointed ones do.. Now.. I could have purchased a Carafe.. But I’m just that stubborn being that they are one of the ONLY brands that don’t give one. Another Con is , I didn’t realize it was slightly burning the espresso until the replacement I got arrived .I will say it’s a great entry-level espresso maker… But if Mr. Coffey is going to be competitive at this price point, they have to include the carafe.. I probably would’ve kept it had it been included?I like them, Mr. Coffey brand in the military, etc. I always used it. It was always reliable my advice fix this one and then make a 6 cup Espresso machine.. I do iced Coffee, iced espresso And iced Americanoss.. I try to make enough to get me through the work week.. A 6 cup calf and machine would mean that I would only have to do two runs to provide me with for the week.. I hope Mr. Coffey takes this advice because they’ve always been a staple…

Some other reviewers have complained that this coffee maker "explodes" when removing the portafilter after brewing their coffee. I've found that it's best to just let the machine sit and cool down before removing the portafilter.I would also say that the coffee produced by this machine isn't really espresso. There's no creama. In a sense, it more resembles a stand alone moka pot. That said, it produces a decent cup of coffee.

Amazingly disappointing. Used it on day one and it worked great and was excellent espresso. Day two the light comes on but no espresso comes out. Beyond frustrating.
