This purchase worked out perfect for my small block Ford motor and Holley carburetor. Needed a return spring on my throttle.

This is a nice set of springs and bracket. I'm using it on a small block Chevrolet with an Ede intake and carb. Installed per Ede's recommendation to the forward end of carb. The L-bracket required modification to accept the 3/8" intake manifold bolt. Used a stepped-bit to enlarge the 5/16" hole to 3/8". Also had to add a flat washer between the bracket and manifold to allow the bolt to be torqued without deforming the bracket. The springs are stiff but in time they will stretch. Wish they were maybe a 1/4" to 3/8" longer. I purchased this set at a local retailer for about the same price as Amazon offers it. Minus one star for mounting hold modification.

The part said it fit a 1966 Chevelle, and it did not. Had to go to dealership to get the right one. I am glad this part was not expensive, but still wasted $10.00 on it.
