yes, this thing is a flimsy piece of tin. I'm pretty sure since they all look alike but are sold under different brands, they are all made in the same factory.anyway, this is a non-load bearing piece of equipment so being a little on the flimsy side should be fine. I put it on my motor. set my motor at TDC and 'indexed' the tab to 0 degrees by giving it a little tweek. done. as long as I don't put my hand down the front of the motor and accidentally hit the thing, it should stay indexed for timing purposes.

Found the stock indicator was about 12 degrees off with new SPI certified balancer. This one got me fixed for just a few bucks. Not adjustable, but it's doing the job nicely.

Pointer is flimsy, bends out of alignment very easy thus comprising the accuracy of timing g adjustment. Item even arrived bent in the package.

Had to bend it and adjust it a little for it to work right. It’s not dead accurate either but good enough to get an engine running good. Overall I’m pretty happy with the purchase.
