These work much better than the cheap paper gasket which was installed before I bought the car - just make sure to clean the mating surfaces before installation. The cheap paper gasket that somebody else had installed with the Pacesetter headers got brittle and blown apart, resulting in exhaust leaks (which in turn resulted in overheating the head near the leaks and causing a combustion leak). MLS gaskets won't get brittle or blow out, and are often reusable, should you need to remove the exhaust for any reason. I also like that the ends of these specific gaskets have the hooks, which make installation a breeze.
