This silicone O-ring is red in color, round in shape, has a durometer of 7OA, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
Silicone is acceptable for temperature applications between -65 degrees F (-54 degrees C) to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C). It has good resistance to ozone, weather, detergent, salt water, engine and transmission oil, non-petroleum brake fluid, hydraulic fluids that resist fire, vegetable and animal oils, and high molecular weight chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons. Silicone is vulnerable to mechanical wear and tear, water and steam over 250 degrees F (121 degrees C), aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene), chlorinated hydrocarbons (trichloroethylene), acids and bases, and hydrocarbon fuels.
O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in a number of sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.
This silicone O-ring has a shore durometer of 70A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.
This silicone O-ring meets standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

Having a spill proof mug is essential especially when driving or on a job site. This product is an Excellent replacement gasket for the Nissan Thermos mug. I have looked high and low for the correct diameter gasket for this mug in the past and succumbed to having to buy a new mug. Now using these gaskets-problem solved, but as luck would have it Thermos has changed the design of the Nissan mug. This works for the previous design that has been on the market for over 10 years.

Great o-rings! I used these on my Jacuzzi pump unions after trying new rubber o-rings unsuccessfully. This is the first time my hot tub plumbing has been entirely leak free in the nine years I've owned it!

We have a couple of Nissan Thermos JMQ400P 14-oz travel mugs. These are great mugs, but unfortunately they're no longer made. After a bit of research, I found this replacement O-rings, and I'm happy to say they're a perfect fit!! Snug, leak-proof, easy to install - no issues at all.

Appears to be clean and well made. Unfortunately it did not work for my purposes, but thats on me because I was just winging it on the measurements. I am trying to replace the O-Ring on a Smart Planet Eco Travel Mug, and while this will fit on the lid, it is too thick for the lid to seat in the mug.Again, this is no fault of the product but I include that here for anyone who may be trying to replace the garbage O-Ring on the Eco Travel Mug. I will update if I find one that works.

I think this thermos cup is no longer available. I've used this as my daily travel mug for the past 20+ yrs of commuting to work. Original seal was getting a little gungy and swollen and was having problems letting the coffee come out of the mug. . This seal fits perfectly. Seals up watertight, but allows coffee to flow when you crack the lid open one turn. Thank you Amazon prime and Stirling seal company... Now to find a spot to store the extra seals.
