I used to have a smaller board, and I got tired of it so I bought this item. Before I bought this, I bought one with aluminum edges. That one was a disappointment, as the aluminum edges were so thin and when I received it, the edges had dents & deformations everywhere.This one is sturdy with wooden edges and I screwed it onto a wooden wall. Used 8 construction screws and it is now solidly placed. Happy with the purchase.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Replacing an old one that we were using as a puzzle board. These are a great alternative to PUZZLE BOARDS and much cheaper. The old one was a little more sturdy, but was from the 1980's when stuff in general was made better. I find this to be quality. Good frame. Cork is adequately secured. Backing a thin wood. Pleased with product and happy with purchase. The only thing - has nothing to do with product - is it got totally beat up in shipping. Box squashed. Looks like it had a cup of tar or black paint spilled on it. I really thought the product would be more damaged than it was. Surprised it wasn't. There is a place where I can visibly see where box rubbed on the cork. Frame cracked. Customer service responded to my message and resolved the damage issue. Good customer service too.

Used for putting up United States map with roadways. Great for putting pins for places visited with corkboard backing map to hold pins. Draw lines on major highway across the U.S. that have driven on.

Unfortunately, I only read the other reviews after I purchased this product. As everyone else has noted, the board has a minor defect that by itself wouldn't have mattered. Most importantly, the board is warped, and the bottom stands out from the wall an extra inch, leaving a gap and casting an annoying shadow. The method for hanging the board is badly designed, difficult to install, and damaging to the wall when the board was removed. Be warned! Read the reviews BEFORE you buy, not after.

Love the cork board, but the hangers provided leave much to be desired. You only get a single hanger and stickers to hang it to the wall that do not stick very well. Additional wall hangers would be very helpful since the stickers are not very helpful and most people don't want to mess up their part by applying the stickers. Otherwise, the cork board itself is awesome.
