The Good:-Easy to set up-Protective-Portable-Must have for batting practiceThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:I used this Mr Portable L-screen at practice today and it works great. The kids are starting the hit the ball much harder so I’m glad I have this to protect myself. It is easy to set up and very portable. Overall, I would recommend this L screen for its ease of use and safety.

This is a great portable L screen net. Set your expectations based on the design. It is not as good as a solid pipe framed L screen. I ordered this knowing that going in. My needs are for an easily portable screen that I can use when practicing with my kids and their friends. We do live pitching and use a pitching machine. Having a screen makes it much safer when practicing. Unfortunately the fields we use either don’t have an L screen at the location or are packed away after use by whatever group has access whether it be school or little league equipment. That said this does a great job. It is quick and easy to set up and does what it’s supposed to do, protect the person pitching. Stakes are provided to anchor the base tubes for stability. There is a little more give than a standard screen because the posts are made of fiberglass rod. As long as you are standing back from the screen a bit it gives you plenty of protection from a line drive. It’s worth the money for an easy to use piece of safety equipment. If portability isn’t an issue for you I would recommend one made with steel poles. If portability is a concern like it was for me this is an excellent choice.

This net is ok but I had a ground ball hit softly somehow tear right through the net. It's been hit by hard line drives as well and held up fine, but I'm now a little hesitant to get behind it knowing how easily it tore.

Grandkids love this, they just got into baseball and both are pitching. This is a strong and easy to assemble net. Breaks down easy to move and use at the field. Netting is strong and durable and stops hard line drives with ease. Has very good coverage area also.

This net is great for kids. I would not recommend for an adult. An adult hitting a ball into it would probably not do much more than slow the ball down a bit before it knocks the net over and keeps right on going, hitting whoever happens to be the pitcher.The net was easy to put together and setup. I am sure it could provide some protection for the pitcher, but it probably wouldn't help that much once the ball reaches a certain speed, that net is going down, LOL.
