Bought for a friend having surgery to allowed to be heard from any room in the house. Really rings at one tone which is fairly loud. 2 weeks in as of writing review and product seems to be in great condition still, light weight and ease to you. Great quality for price!

This Bell Is No Joke—It Works Like a Charm! I got it as a gag gift after surgery so I could 'summon' my significant other whenever I needed something, and let me tell you, it delivers. The bell is loud—really loud—so you’re guaranteed to get attention when you give it a ring. In fact, it works a little too well because every time I use it, they come running... though it’s usually to put a stop to my ringing rather than to see what I need! One of my Sisters needed surgery and had to go to another Sister's house for recovery for a few weeks. Guest room was a bit out of the way and she didn't want to use her phone constantly, so I bought her this bell she could ring from the room when she needed something - it worked! I mean, she drove my other Sister crazy ringing it, but it was loud and could be heard through the house, she said! Mission accomplished.

I searched online for a small hand bell to use to signal the conclusion of several activities during Vacation Bible School this summer. There were a lot of choices, but I did not want to spend a fortune and took a chance on this relatively inexpensive bell. I'm glad I did because it looks great, worked perfectly for my needs and came boxed so that I can save it to use again next year.
