Light in weight and the gold is a matted tone instead of shiny, but still decent quality, It does not extend around the entire neck, but more the front part. It is easy to bend and adjust for needed room.

This is so pretty! It's not as heavy as it looks and sits so well on the collarbone. Wearing it with a nice drapy black jersey top looks so chic. I love it.
