Works well to propel me through the water in my 9.5 ft kayak. Nice and strong and this one is actually long enough for me to get full power strokes. The aluminum handle is a little heavier than a carbon fiber handle, but much less expensive.

I bought them for my canoe as I read an article about the pros and cons. Does not disappoint. Good reach, nice leverage. It’s easy to manage when you have a canoe full of kiddos. I like that it separates when I need just one for little maneuvers.

Comfortable in hand and when paired with some yak grips feels really light and easy to use. I now own 3 sets of these in varying sizes and would recommend to everyone. Solid construction so no fear of breakage and lightweight.

Love this paddle! Perfect length (I am 5'5" and have a sit-on-top kayak). Powerful pull on nice blade. Also love the vivid yellow color, both for visibility and nice with my light blue boat. Drip guards are cupped, so stayed much drier than my other paddle did with flat guards.My only issue was complete lack of padding on grips. I bought some nice vinyl batting grip, also in bright yellow, and that works.... but before adding that, even using gloves, my hands were sooooo achy due to pressure and lack of support.All in all, great paddle, great purchase. Have used in lakes and rivers. Strong enough to oull across a current and push out of mud. I highly recommend!!

I recently got a second kayak and it's neon orange just as a back-up. My other kayak is bright turquoise and its paddle matches. And because I'm specific like that, I couldn't find it in my conscience to use my other paddle...cause that would look funky.Being as this was just a back-up kayak I didn't want to spend $70 on a paddle I may not use often but didmt want a cheapy on i couldnt trust. So I purchased this paddle to match my new kayak and tested it out on the water. It works just the same!Nice handle, easy to 'assemble' and take apart, a nice weight and length for me, I'm 5'2" by the way and got the 86".Overall for a 'cheaper' paddle this is equivalent to my better one and I would buy again.

I am on a fishing kayak I bought used that came with a short cheap paddle. I wanted to try out a longer paddle without paying hundreds of dollars just in case I didn't like it. Not only did this paddle meet those requirements it had the bonus of being the right color to match my kayak.
