I have a FiTech on my '95 5.8l in my '69 Bronco. It never ran as well as I thought it should and I contemplated for years getting the MSD. I finally did and my engine has never run this well. Idle quality is great and acceleration is like butter. So happy with this purchase!Until I wasn't. I had read reviews about quality issues but ignored them since I had a MSD 6a in the past for many years w/o any issues. After a couple of months my truck just died driving down the road. The diagnostic LED indicator said the unit was bad and MSD tech support said to return it to them. It's been three weeks now and the only answer I can get is that it is in diagnostics. The same answer they gave me two weeks ago. Pretty frustrating and now not sure how confident I am that it won't happen again.

Works great as advertised.Only complaint is packaging. Little to no packing for a fairly delicate electronic box. You'd think they wouldn't want it bouncing around the way shippers are. At least it does work.

MSD 6al still going strong after two years. MSD is the best choice in after market ignition systems.

The system install is pretty straightforward with several diagrams. I took a star off as I called MSD tech support about 5 times; I concluded they're just following a screen prompt and don't actually know much about automotive electrical systems.

I had an old analog MSD on my Ram 1500 for over 20 yrs and it finally gave out. This new digital one plugged right in to the wiring harness and works like a charm. You go through caps and rotors much faster, but its worth it in mileage and HP.

Easy to install, worked right out of the box. No problems. Gave my 2.8 liter 4 cylinder 944 a much improved idle and more power on the low end.

I purchased this box and it works great as I changed the whole OEM spark system to MSD with dristributor and blaster 2 and MSD wires on my boat and can't perform any better! The staff Roy and Katie were most helpful with an issue but was resolved professionally and quite happy with the whole scenario!! Thx guys I'll be back in the future if need be!! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
