Haven't used it yet but it's in the trunk as a spare just in case my old super coil gives out on me. More for piece of mind along with a spare ignition box and some tools. Beats sitting on the side of the road when your old car craps out.

Be sure your wire boot is nice and high on coil end to ensure a secure connection, slide boot down once metal end is all the way down.Coil works great I added .005 to my plug gap and it runs nice and smooth.

Does its job as advertisededit: after only 3 1/2 months the coil began to separate from the plug connector housing to the main body, There was fluid leak from it and once I removed it I could feel something moving inside. Thankfully MSD has a 1 year warranty so I was able to get a free replacement through Amazon but I would like to think such a well known brand as this would not have these types of product problems.

Installed with ballast in 20 minutes and it fixed my hard starting/weak spark problem on my 69 XKE. Strong spark now.

Es mi segunda MSD Blaster 2. La primera duró 10 años, asà que en términos de durabilidad, no hay más que decir. En relación al desempeño, es una de las mejores bobinas que he usado (junto a un Super Coil de Accel), y la verdad es que, en conjunto con el distribuidor MSD y un MSD 6AL2, el comportamiento del vehÃculo es infinitamente superior al uso con una bobina stock.

Any MSD ignition coil will deliver the spark you need at any given point in time. Perfect to replace your old stock coil in any carbureted or fuel injected setup. Highly recommend.
