Installed in 1965 Cadillac - 429ci engine. Distributor performs exceptionally - well complimented by the Pertronix Ignitor solid state ignition kit. Also works just fine with standard contact points. Recommend the matching MSD rotor. Best feature is the retainer cap - but keep in mind you MUST purchase wires with the proper "nub" fitting that will pop into the retainer cap holes. MSG and Taylor offer these types of wires. I got sick of my stock/OEM wires wiggling loose with normal engine vibrations. Great performance addition or worthwhile upgrade from stock/OEM caps.
